This line from the late great Bill Withers holds so much truth but at the same time we can’t totally agree with it. The past 4 years have been filled with tears. We’ve battled with the regret of losing the name we spent years building due to a mistake we never should have made. We’ve battled with the loss of friendships that we thought would last forever. We separated for a short time due to disagreements and miscommunications with each other. We watched as some of the same people we shared some of our biggest moments with vanished when we could no longer benefit them. All of these things caused us an unimaginable amount of pain, anger, sadness & most importantly GROWTH. This project isn’t about sadness though. It’s short & sweet just 4 solid tracks because this isn’t about sitting in our sorrows. It’s not about making the world feel sorry for us. It’s about accepting the things you aren’t proud of and growing through that process. This is what our tears created. This is our rebirth. These are the flowers that grew from our pain.
