Just one more update. Back cover, still just drafts. The manuscript is coming along nicely, too. Just a little bit each day. I work a lot, so patience as more unfolds.

I wrote this poem for the back of the book:

In the forests of the mind,
Where dreams and nightmares intertwine,
Two fallen angels, once divine,
Wage war for control, for design.

Devon Carey, Gabriel Cross,
In one vessel, forever lost,
Through stories woven, reality tossed,
Unleashing chaos, at any cost.

With pen as hammer, mind as chain,
In the furnace of their shared brain,
They forge a legion, a dark campaign,
Companions born from Carey's vein.

Thousands of offspring, a global flood,
Each a vessel for tainted blood,
Supernatural deities, a writhing brood,
Destiny's threads, forever skewed.

As Damian rises, a demon born,
From Gabriel's essence, a world to mourn,
The battle rages, hope forlorn,
Can love's light banish the scorn?

In this iconic, mind-bending tale,
Where reality bends and nightmares prevail,
One man's choice may tip the scale,
To save his children, or watch them fail.

In darkness deep, in symmetry's light,
In Fearful Symmetry's second night,
What immortal hand will write,
The fate of souls, in Devon’s sight?

I have so much more to share, but I have been busy learning and getting better with my skills as I can between work. Here is me learning pixel art using this software. I have a lot of videos I am working on right now for Escaping Alderwood, too, including creating mabel's animations (idle, walking, running, attacking, etc). The first game, "Escaping Alderwood: Pixels & Portals" I am only using the ai images as reference, but I am going to be designing the assets myself in Aseprite.
