So where have we been and are we back for good? Frankly life, our incredible clients and the salon () got in the way of creating content for EB Socials.

I have spent the last few months really focusing on self growth, the growth of both businesses coming into 2022 and trying to enjoy time with friends and family to recharge and reset before the end of the year. The last few months of my life have been a whirlwind of emotions... i have been working on finding happiness within myself after years of mental health struggles and am officially stepping into the role of CEO in my parents hair salon that I can now call my own! ❤️

Now the big question! Are you going to see us on your feed more frequently? That is a question I would love to say HELL YES but at this stage I cannot give a definite answer on. My clients and my salon are my main priority and battling multiple mental health disorders there are days where I just need to switch off.

I want to thank you all for the support over the last few months of me popping in and out of this account and are sending love if you have also been feeling overwhelmed with life at the moment.

So you're using instagram but you're not getting any sales.

I completely understand how frustrating it must feel to show up and do all the things you are told to do by the latest "Instagram Guru"... but are not seeing the types of results that are being promised.

But I will be honest when I say that the answer may not be as simple as you think, there are a plethora of reasons that your current social & sales strategy may not be working for you... Let's take a sneak peak at a few:

👉 Your captions are not currently supporting your strategy

👉 Your images are low quality.

👉 You're not talking to your target audience. Stop focusing on the mass and shift your focus to your target audience.

👉 You don't show up. It is so important to show up on your Instagram to gain visibility, authority and build a community! Think of your stories like a house... If the lights not on people assume nobody is home!

👉 You're trying to sell too much. A content plan does not consist of just sales content, you need to help fix peoples problems, show educational content, community building content and the occasional sales pieces.

👉 Spend 1 day each quarter to do a photoshoot for updated images
👉 Create all necessary graphics in 1 go so your not going back everyday! Having company templates that you drag and drop new images and test into will cut down your design time immensely
👉 Put all your content ideas in 1 place so its easier to plan your content for the month! This is also so handy for your 1am content ideas
👉 Take the time out of your day to write a well written caption! Quick, unplanned captions are not going to do your marketing strategy any good! You need to know your why behind the caption!

We have had so many new followers on EB Socials recently so I thought I should introduce myself again!

Hi! I'm Ella, Founder of EB Socials! I help beauty, fashion and lifestyle brands scale on social media and create a lasting community through the convergence of done for you and done with you marketing plans!

I have been a hairdresser for 7+ years and managing my parents salon for the last 3 years, At the end of 2020 I decided to pivot to helping small and medium sized businesses achieve their goals on social media after scaling her parents salon to the salon that it is today.

I have always had a passion for hair and beauty from a young age and always switched up what I wanted to be when I grew up! From makeup artist, to camera woman, to marketing and eventually starting my apprenticeship as a hairdresser at the age of 15. I always knew I would branch into marketing at some point after managing my parents salon and taking over their social media accounts!

Marketing and social media is something I have always been passionate about after I became booked out as a 3rd year apprentice from Instagram alone!
