Hey, look at that, this episode is up on the right day! Fancy that. There's some actual automotive news this week, which is a nice change of pace, and is very welcome. We kick off the news with the new Toyota GazooRacing 86, the naturally aspirated FA24 powered successor to the wonderful GT86. We then talk about the new "400" Zed, with a 400hp twin-turbo V6, designed to tackle the MkV Supra with a proper 6-speed manual, and Barra-swapped Mustangs, then Matt makes one of his biggest takes by arguing that the General Motors LS-engine is the best engine of all time....

[Mitch] There's also a new Integra coming next year, which I'm far more interested in than the rebodied Aventador from Audi.

My concern is that due to the modern nanny-state safety requirements, it'll be too heavy, with automated driving "features" like AEB, and be far too big.

Also, with global emission standards, it'll probably have hybrid bo****ks of some description, which again, will add weight.

I am somewhat optimistic that Honda will take more inspiration from the DC2 generation rather than the bloated DC5, much like how Mazda made the ND more in line with the NA/B generation MX-5... We'll just have to wait and see.

Hopefully at the very least it will have a manual transmission, and it won't be too expensive...... 🤷

The 'Queen of the Ring' Sabine Schmitz has sadly passed away at the age of 51 after battling cancer for the last few years... The world fell in love with Sabine after her debut in 2004 on a pokey motoring show on the BBC called Top Gear, and became a regular appearance on the show, eventually becoming a host in 2015. Sabine was a 2-time Nurburgring 24hrs winner, and a Nurburgring Taxi driver for many years. Sabine estimated she'd completed more than 20,000 laps of the Green Hell. RIP.

Here's a video of her driving a Porsche GT3 R and absolutely dominating from a few years back.
