The Samsung Galaxy A35 and Galaxy A*5 may get some of the Galaxy AI features available on more expensive Samsung phones through a future software update.
The features, which debuted along with the Galaxy S24 series at the beginning of 2024, have so far not trickled down below the company’s premium Galaxy S and Z series, but that seems likely to change soon.
According to a report by SamMobile, these two mid-range models will be updated with a subset of Galaxy AI capabilities and a OneUI update within two months.

The new Sky Cipher Special Edition Xbox controller, due out in August, might bring back fond memories to veteran gamers who remember the transparent-plastic craze of the 1990s.
This blue controller features metal accents, a silver interior, and Bluetooth compatibility with PCs and mobile. Devices, a dedicated share button, a 3.5mm audio jack, and 40 hours of battery life with two AA batteries.
Microsoft also stated that with this release, it has revamped the packaging for its controllers to remove single-use plastics and included a QR code instead of a paper manual. They claim the packaging itself is also 22% smaller.

Realme has launched its latest 13 Pro 5G series which includes the Realme 13 Pro and Realme 13 Pro Plus 5G. Both models attract mid-range buyers with their premium design, camera upgrades, AI capabilities, and a fast-charging battery. With the new HYPERIMAGE+ architecture, Realme’s new Pro series is capable of enhancing the photographic experience by using artificial intelligence that is becoming gradually integral to devices.
On the hardware front, Realme 13 Pro+ is the first phone to launch with Sony’s LYT-701 sensor on its 50MP main cam (24mm). There’s another first with the 3x telephoto lens featuring a Sony LYT-600 sensor (1/2-inch) with 50MP resolution and 73mm focal length. Both rear shooters feature OIS and are joined by an 8MP ultrawide lens (16mm).
Realme 13 Pro dials down to a smaller 50MP main sensor (LYT-600) and the same 8MP ultrawide as on the 13Pro+. Realme also revealed the design inspiration for the 13 Pro series came from the works of French painter Claude Monet with brushstrokes on the back of the frosted glass.

Sony has just unveiled the Limited Edition Astro Bot controller, and its adorable design is impressing fans.
The controller features blue accents on the handles and buttons and Astro's digital eyes on the touchpad.
As for its technical specs, Sony revealed that it updated the controller to accommodate additional textures that players will encounter in 'Astro Bot, such as the feeling of Astro gliding on grass, sand, and metal.

Apple may be looking to ad an ad-supported tier to its Apple TV+ streaming service.
The company is reported to have held discussions with the UK-based Broadcaster's Audience Research Board (BARB). Executives from Apple are said to have met with the group to explore the extra data-collection techniques needed to monitor advertising results.
Currently, BARB provides viewing statistics for all four main networks in the UK: the BBC, ITV, Channel 4, and Fox-owned Sky. The organization also provides Apple with viewing figures for Apple TV+ programming.

Google has revealed that the Pixel 9 launch event will be on August 13. The Pixel 9 series will include the Pixel 9 Pro Fold -- Google's next foldable -- though it's unclear how much more "pro" it will be than the first Pixel Fold.
There's no mention of the standard Pixel 9 anywhere, but it would be curious if Google didn't also release it on the same date. It may be that Google simply wants to hype up its flagship phone ahead of its launch.

Xiaomi unveiled its SU7 electric sports car last year to take on the likes of the Porsche Taycan. Now, the company has furthered the ante with the sportscar's latest iteration, the SU7 Ultra.
The new Xiaomi SU7 Ultra will be the flagship model and will focus heavily on track use. The prototype features a bunch of upgrades over the standard SU7, in terms of design, aerodynamics & powertrain.
The SU7 Ultra features three electric motors—two from Xiaomi's latest V8 Series and one from the V6 series—producing a combined output of 1,548 BHP. This immense power allows the SU7 Ultra to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 1.97 seconds and reach 200 km/h in 5.96 seconds, with a top speed of 350 km/h.
Xiaomi aims to make the SU7 Ultra the fastest 4-door car ever made. The company plans to take the car out to Nürburgring in October to try to set a best lap.

Fortnite and Rocket League is adding Tesla's Cybertruck to its lineup of in-game vehicles!
The Fortnite post included a short video showing a Cybertruck pulling against another truck via a metal chain, which we're pretty sure might void the Tesla warranty on the vehicle. Although Epic Games did not specifically mention it in either post, it's likely the truck will be available as purchasable, optional content.

Google says Gemini Live will adapt to users’ speech patterns and offer more succinct, conversational responses than the long-winded text-based replies it usually generates.

Google made the cover screen on its Z Flip series phone a lot more usable with the Galaxy Z Flip 5. The 3.4-inch cover screen can display several widgets and even some apps, but it didn't support Google Wallet. That seems to have changed now, as the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and the Galaxy Z Flip 6 can now run the app on their cover screen.
This new functionality, likely enabled by a recent update to either MultiStar, Google Wallet, or Samsung's One UI 6.1, allows users to add Google Wallet to their cover screen.
To do this, they need to download Good Lock, a customization suite for Galaxy phones, and then use the MultiStar module to add the Google Wallet widget to the cover screen..
