Is Majority Rule 2.0 Finally Here? | Dale Happy Knowles, Dylan Miles, Eden & Paris Bethell – Ep. 141
On January 2, 2025, history shifted—The Bahamas appointed its first-ever woman Commissioner of Police. But does this signal a deeper movement toward the unfinished business of Majority Rule 2.0?
In this powerful episode of SumTin' Ta Tink Abou!, Dale Happy Knowles sits down with Dylan Miles and siblings Paris and Eden Bethell for a bold conversation exploring what true equality means today.
Majority Rule wasn’t just about race—it was about equal access for all Bahamians. The January 10, 1967, milestone was fundamentally about breaking barriers in voting rights, opportunity, and representation. But have we truly completed the mission?
For those who lived it:
We honor your legacy—the fight that reshaped the Bahamas. But let’s be real—was the struggle just about a black majority in power, or was it about dismantling all barriers to equality?
For the next generation:
Dylan, Paris, and Eden bring fresh voices into the conversation, asking the hard questions:
Does this historic appointment reflect deeper societal change?
Are political, economic, and social equality truly balanced in the 242?
How can today’s youth help complete the vision of true equality?
Join the Conversation:
This episode isn’t just about history—it’s about the future. Let’s honor the past while inspiring the next chapter.
Don't miss this! Tune in and be part of shaping what Majority Rule 2.0 should look like for the Bahamas.
