I visited LARS, our large animal research station, here in Fairbanks. It's so nice that they do an end of the season locals only event. Musk ox, wood bison and caribou.

We have done so much this summer. I have been watching my YouTube numbers go up and down, just waiting for that congratulations "you made 6K". I have 3 videos waiting to be edited. But I have been in bed sick since Monday night. I did go to urgent care yesterday, nothing major, just some kind of infection. Which is good because I didn't want Heather to catch anything. Heather is healing fine from her surgery. She is doing well. But 😭 you all know how I love all the 4th of July festivities! I hope you all are enjoying your long weekend. Mine was extended the wrong way, I was hoping to be better by now. Be safe, everyone, and stay healthy ❤️

Crazy how the rain is hit or miss. It calmed the fires for a bit. I just got word that the parks highway was closed again with now warnings before evacuations. And people nearby who just got to go home may be evacuated again. Also, I feel sorry for the guy doing my roof, It's really hot up there!

It was a scary ride home last night. Lots of prayers for friends and families being evacuated and all of the firefighters working to save their properties 🙏🙏🙏

So far, I have driven to Anchorage 3 times this season. 370 miles from Fairbanks one way. The view always amazes me 😍

We are the Alaskan Bears Family

As a child, my grandmother called all of her grandchildren little bears. So as I grew up my friends called me Sherbear. Staying with family tradition, I called my children bears. It all seemed fitting when my 2 youngest were still at home and we moved to Alaska in 2006. Now we are the Three Bears in Alaska! Marybear (aka: Mary) started a youtube channel as a college project and it turned into a family vlog. While she was busy with college studies Mommabear took over and invited friends. Welcome to our Vlogging experience! Come join us on our Alaskan adventures!
