Post 3/3 because FB doesn't allow videos and photos at the same time. What a day! We woke up yesterday in Breckinridge with about 6 inches of snow that fell overnight and a snowstorm that continued through the day. Skimboarding looks like so much fun…...according to YouTube videos 😂🤣😅 Paul gave it a shot and well… let's just say it didn't look like fun. We all had a good chuckle. With skimboarding you start on shore, use the board to glide across the water's surface and ride the incoming wave back to shore. Our condo for the week at Marco Island 😍😍😍⠀⠀If you haven't vacationed along the Gulf Coast of Florida… make it your next vacation destination!⠀We have loved every bit of the Gulf Coast side of Florida. Soft sand, beautiful water, gentle waves, it's all been perfect.⠀⠀This is our latest resort, The Charter Club of Marco Island. They have two towers to choose from. One tower has the pool view and the other is closest to the beach.We have the condo facing the water and it is GORGEOUS every single day. 😍⠀⠀⠀The BEST thing about the resort is that we got to use the water sport equipment for free.⠀⠀So here's the deal. This condo was ONLY $800 for us for the entire week! We're Hilton Grand Vacations timeshare owners and we basically have points to use towards all our bookings and that's how we booked here.⠀Timeshare isn't the best option for many people, but for us it made sense. Definitely do calculations before going into timeshares to make sure it makes financial sense.⠀For us, the way we calculate our timeshare purchase is to take the cost of the purchase price of the deed, amortize it over 20 years of use. Add that amount to our yearly maintenance fees. Divide it by total points, that gets us the price per point. That equaled $800 for our stay here!⠀I'm not an advocate for people getting timeshares. For most people, it makes NO SENSE. News Reporting from a Florida Storm

Visiting Florida during hurricane season was the best idea ever! Said no one ever 🤣😂 ⠀ ⠀ Just kidding, for the most part, Florida's been great. But you know there are afternoon showers GUARANTEED most days out of the week. This one was a doozy. ⠀ ⠀ Our kids have a lot of fun together. It was fun sitting in my little corner catching this on video. There's a budding news reporter and camera crew in the making. ⠀ ⠀ There was a period of time in early summer (all of June and July) when the kids did not have access to any electronic gaming. Without gaming on their minds, they came up with so many different ideas of games, crafts, outdoor play... ⠀ ⠀ When we let our kids' imagination run wild, there's always something amazing that comes out.
