The school routine chaos is back, but so is that bliss, quiet adult time (even if it’s just your commute) 💆🏻‍♀️🙌🏼

My three aren’t actually back until Wednesday so they’re off the their grandparents - a couple more days of potty training for the girls at home & Harry having fun with his cousins but I think even they’ll be thankful to get back into a more structured routine 💞✨

🌍💜 World Prematurity Day 💜🌍

Today we honour all the tiny warriors who entered the world early, including my incredible twin girls Sienna & Bella 👧🏼👧🏼

Born at just 29 weeks, they faced a journey filled with uncertainty. Now they’re thriving & remind me daily that even the smallest babies can have the biggest strength 💪🏼

To all the parents walking this path: you are not alone, and your babies (& you!) are stronger than you know 👣

💜 To the doctors, nurses, and NICU teams: thank you for the love and care that gave my girls a fighting chance 💜

Here’s to raising awareness about prematurity, supporting families, and celebrating our miracle babies 🌟

FINAL WEEK OF HOLIDAY

We flew out in July & arrived home just a few days before September - 4 weeks of fun in the sun & wholesome memories made 🫶🏼

The main lesson learnt? We can ABSOLUTELY do this as a family of five so next year that’s what we plan to do 🤍

Tell me - parents of little ones, have you braved holidays abroad or waited until they’re older/gone with family for support?

DISNEY⁣

So I have a bit of a confession. I really don’t like DISNEY 😳⁣
⁣
And what I mean when I say I don’t like Disney is I don’t like Disney clothing 🙅🏻‍♀️⁣

I know I’ll be in the minority here but I don’t know…they’re usually just too bright, OTT & babyish…🎀⁣
⁣
Anyway, I came across this tshirt in .kids and I really liked it! In fact, there’s quite a few Disney clothes that I’ve recently quite liked…ya’know the more subtle, retro style? So I might be a convert after all 😆⁣

Today we went to a local funfair & the kids loved it…watching their excitement seeing the (fake) Daisy Duck & going on the rides made me think maybe a little Disneyland trip is in store 🎢⁣

Talking of trips…guess what. We’ve booked to go away for a MONTH! I repeat. A MONTH! Bear in mind I’ve never been away with the kids so I AM SOOOOOO BLOOMIN’ EXCITED ✈️⁣

Officially ‘TWO’ today

14th June was the twin’s due date & although it would never have been their arrival date (they don’t let you go full term with twins) it’s the date we’ve used all these years to track them developmentally. But today that stops. Two years old is the age preemies usually catch-up & you stop using their adjusted age 🫶🏼💕⁣⁣

CHRISTMAS BREAK

Sienna’s curiosity (& heavy handedness) as she barges straight into the Christmas tree to grab a bauble🎄⁣

Harry the “obedient” child after listening to us incessantly say “no” to opening the presents under the tree decides to coax the youngest…🎁⁣

Bella to open them who is always smiling & nodding completely oblivious to what mischief she’s about to get into 🤭⁣

With only a 16 month gap and having identical twins, it always fascinates me how different all three of my children are ✨⁣
⁣
& although this time of the year can be so overwhelming for most & despite it being a tiring first week off work, mentally I’ve had a large chunk of my life put on “pause” & it’s been amazing dedicating all my time on them again 🥰⁣
⁣
The silver bullet for me (contrary to my instagram handle!) is to get out the house because that’s where the adventures begin…& my sanity is saved 😆
