PRESIDENT William Ruto will from tomorrow 5th August 2023, embark on a 4 days development tour in Mt.Kenya Region.

Among the projects to be commissioned;

1. Githurai Water supply project.
2. Githurai market.
3. Kagio Water supply.
4. Commissioning of the Marua- Gatung'ang'a - Chieni - State lodge road.
5. Ichamara - Rutune road.
6. Commissioning of Kaigonji Water project.
7. Commissioning of Othaya Water Project.
8. Commissioning of Nyeri Stage and bus park.
9. Commissioning of Kiganjo KCC.
10. Commissioning of Narumoru level 4 hospital.
11. Ground breaking of Kirinyaga housing project.
12. Karimenu- Thika- Gatundu Water project.
13. Thika affordable housing projects.

He will be accompanied by DP Rigathi Gachagua together with other leaders from the region.

Co-operatives and MSMEs Development Cabinet Secretary Simon Chelugui, EGH, is in Vancouver, Canada for the World Council of Credit Unions (WOCCU) conference.

The World Council of Credit Unions is an international trade association which works to *advance financial inclusion* through Credit Unions and the *cooperatives model* by engaging in international *advocacy, education, development and networking* that seeks to empower the *underserved populations* and promote more equitable and resilient communities.

More than 3,000 global credit union professionals and representatives from governments from across the globe are attending this year's WOCCU conference.

The conference wouldn't have come at a better time considering that the Kenya Kwanza administration has trained its eyes and ears on the *Financial Inclusion* (Hustler Fund) through the Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA).

The Project will supply water to more than 200,000 households in Belgut, Kipkelion East and
