Motherhood can sometimes feel like a full time hard labor job, but at the end of the day we still do it with love
Pregnancy hurts.
Labor hurts. Breastfeeding hurts.
Seeing your child crying hurts.
Not sleeping well, hurts.
Serving everyone and being the last one hurts.
Not bathing calmly, it hurts. Having a very difficult and restless day hurts.
Not doing your nails and hair like before, hurts.
Not having time for YOU hurts. Mom needs help not to be criticized, she needs affection and not blows, she takes care of everyone but she also needs to be taken care of.
Motherhood is not as tender as it seems to be, motherhood is beautiful, yes, but it is very difficult.
What is beautiful is the love that a mother feels for her child, that love is capable of supporting everything and anything.
No one is born a mother, one becomes a mother❤

Ovulation
It is a process in which a mature egg is released from the ovary..egg moves down the fallopian tubes and stay there for 12 to 24 hours where it can be fertilized. when the egg is not fertilized it will break/degrade and that results to your menstruation, if fertilized the egg may travel to the uterus and implant to develop pregnancy..
Ovulation typically happens around day 14 of a 28 day menstrual cycle ( 14 days before your period starts)
While the egg can only be fertilized in 12-24 hours after it's released, s***m can live in the productive tract under ideal condition up to 5 days.. your chance of getting pregnant is highest when live s***m are present in the fallopian tubes during ovulation.

How to calculate Estimated date of delivery (EDD)
Add one year, subtract three months and add seven days to the first day of your last menstrual period. which is 280 days (40 weeks) full nine months
let's say your last missed period was on the 10th December 2018
LMP= 10 Dec 2018
+1 year= 10 Dec 2019
-3 months= 10 Sep 2019
+ 7 days= 17 September 2019
So 17 Sep is likely to be be your delivery day/ two weeks earlier/two weeks later
But remember it's only an estimation, God only knows the exact time and date

How gender is determined (is it a boy or a girl?)
In each individual, gender is determined by s*x chromosomes
the presence of two X, XX chromosomes results in a female and embryo with XY chromosomes results in a male
why we experiencing the things we experience during pregnancy
Tiredness/Fatigue- Increased level of estrogen and progesterone
Breast changes- Estrogen stimulates growth of the breast duct cells and generate prolactin, prolactin stimulates breast enlargement and milk production
Abdominal pains/cramps- expansion of uterus, sometimes it can be formation of placenta
Nausea- Effects of HCG
Constipation- Intestines slow down the movement of stool through the bowel (eat food high in fiber)
Moods swings- hormonal increase can Affect neurotransmitters, brain chemical that regulate mood
