We are specifically searching for a Filipino performer, and a nonbinary/genderqueer performer, to truthfully represent the characters’ lived experience. Please see below for further character descriptions.

Auditions: June 12th, June 26th, 2022
Recording: EITHER July 16th OR July 17th, 2022, TBC

CHARACTERS:
Holly Cruz: Woman, 20-30, Filipino-Canadian. Holly works part time at the bookstore and part-time as a cleaner, helping support her single mother and disabled sister. Andre Roach: Man - looking for Non Binary/Genderqueer actor, 20-30, any ethnicity. Andre is the youngest son in a family of Francis lifers. He plays into his persona as a stoner goofball, but Andre also possesses a sensitivity and incisiveness. The first one to crack a joke in a tense situation.
Rhea Simpson: Woman, 20-30, any ethnicity. Rhea is the new girl in town. She is confidently out as bisexual. She is brave and compassionate, though that bravery sometimes turns into recklessness. Growing up in the city has also given her an unearned sense of worldliness. The recent death of her mother has caused her to withdraw and become more weary.
