The Future of Sports
The C-virus has literally stopped everyone and every business on this planet except these giant tech companies like Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Netflix, etc. We’re all stuck at our houses with nothing to do but binge the next Netflix series we’ve been planning since last week.
On the other hand, if you are a gamer, this is just heaven because you know you now have all the time in the world to play your most favorite games with your friends.
However, games today are very different. It has evolved into something more complex and competitive than the games we’ve played back then. These games require mental strength and quick reflexes. This raises a big question: Should gaming be considered a sport?
Our very simple answer to that is YES. Gaming is slowly being more and more similar to Basketball. Take a game like Valorant, a 5v5 competitive online game that requires teams to defend and attack goal posts. Then, the first team to reach a certain amount of points win.
