The highlight of the ceremony is the honours we bestow upon the best of the best of our musicians and music makers. Fans of African music from all over the world will converge to celebrate their heroes on November 26, whereas millions worldwide catches the telecast from the comforts of their home. The event will attract over 2,000 live audiences consisting of the crème de la crème and most prominent members of our society. African High Commissioners in the UK, premiership players, fashion designers, business execs, and showbiz barons have all been invited to attend the 2011 African Music Awards. Over 50 million people worldwide will watch the event, showcasing performances from Africa’s music giants and top musicians from the UK and America.
