Reflecting on an incredible week at the 2024 National HEPCAMP Conference! From inspiring workshops to powerful testimonies, it was amazing to see firsthand the impact of HEP and CAMP programs across the country. The students are the reason we do what we do!

For NMSU CAMP, this year’s conference was particularly special. We celebrated Dr. Cynthia Bejarano’s over 20 years of dedicated service and cheered on Maria Cortes as one of the 2024 CAMP Student Champion Speakers. A shoutout as well to my colleague, Daniel Grajeda, who led a fantastic workshop on journaling!

Gracias por todo HEPCAMP! Looking forward to next year!

Yesterday was a special day for our NMSU CAMP students attending the 2024 USHLI Conference this week! Wednesday was our first day in the city and got to visit the NBC Tower! Thank you Anabel Monge Telemundo for the amazing tour of the Telemundo Chicago/ NBC5 studios and newsroom!
Your story of determination and hard-work really inspired our students to keep pushing forward! We appreciate the advice, tour and laughs!

Fall Commencement 2023 ✅
It was an honor being a student guide over the weekend for the graduate and undergraduate commencement ceremonies. It feels so good to help the graduates on their very special day.
It’s very interesting to see all the hard work put in behind the scenes for the ex*****on and production for a graduation. It’s so inspiring seeing the graduates go up and walk the stage.
A plus is being able to see friends, colleagues and our students beforehand❤️
Congratulations to all the graduates this semester! Go Aggies!

Today was a very special day as we celebrated first generation students on the NMSU campus! 📚It's really cool to see how we all come together to celebrate education.
