You can convince yourself that you're OK without Jesus.

Or that it's acceptable to simply pray to the god of your own understanding

But deep in your spirit you know something is off, because:

• Where is this "god" when your anxiety is off the chain?

• Where is your help when you've crossed the line you swore you'd never cross but here you are doing it again for the umpteenth time?

• Where's this "god" when addiction holds you captive?

• Where's your help when you're emotionally shattered, overcome with tears, unable to muster strength enough to get up off the floor or out of bed?

The truth is: we can run from Jesus but none of us can hide. And I don't mean this in a foreboding manner, but rather to spur you to optimism and hope.

Because His love, His Holy Spirit longs to bring the Children of God boldly into the Kingdom.

If you are reading this but don't know Him I prophesy that you too, are a King's Kid. It is you he suffered and died for; it is your sin he washed away on Calvary. It is your time to come home.

You can convince yourself that life is fine without Jesus.

But I know you're secretly battling oppression. You're secretly ate up with tormenting thoughts. You're secretly self-harming whether by physical means or spiritual ones.

You can't find sustaining peace and it's why you think another crystal, another meeting, just one more hit, just one more time, just one more reading, just one more relationship, just one more drink, just one more fling will do it for you.

But the truth is: you are in bo***ge.

If you're not yoked to Jesus you are yoked to something else and I guarantee that something else feels is more than you can bear, it feels heavy, it feels impossible, it feels like hell

But..

One touch from heaven will change your life.

One moment in His presence.

One confession from your lips: Jesus is Lord, God help me.

You are not forgotten or too far gone. Lay down your defenses. It is time to stop running and come home to the kingdom you belong to.

Seek the Lord while He may be found; Call upon Him while He is near.
Isaiah 55:6

There’s honestly so many good reasons to get into God’s Word, but here’s just a few.

My main thing is…get you a translation that you can actually comprehend 😵‍💫 if you’re a staunch KJV fan cool. If it literally sounds like a foreign language then try something else (I like NKJV, NIV, NASB or ESV to name a few)

If you’ve never read your Bible through and want to do it in the new year I’m facilitating a small group of ladies. We will be using the app and doing the plan. (It’s going to be so good!)

We start January 7th.

I've been gone for 2 months, but that surely hasn't stopped the Lord God from BREATHING on this little project while I've been away.

Somehow this podcast is ranking #51 on the Religion & Spirituality charts in France 🕊🇫🇷 Like, what?!

All glory to God because I am literally producing these episodes in my closet, in spare time. Don't ever think the Lord Jesus doesn't see you and desire to take your little YES and move upon that...

You're not what lying words have been spoken over you in the past.

But rather, you have a FULL IDENTITY, completely outlined by Christ, and an inheritance.
