Each episode showcases the brilliance and tenacity of each alumnus as they reveal their sacred dreams of working in Hollywood as a child. They all share the challenges of being Black in a predominantly White industry. The HBCU in LA alumni program has changed the lives of many HBCU students who otherwise may not have secured such prestigious opportunities in the entertainment industry.
