Ugh. Becky G. here. I had such good intentions...but my computer broke. Now that I have a temporary one in the meantime, I've had to catch up on my Actual Paid Work (I do graphic design and media management for my church) before I can work on this podcast or even my own.

I appreciate all of your patience and I hope that Becky P. and I (and our kids and that nutty clock) can get together again soon to put together another fun episode for you.

For now, we are on something of an unexpected an unwanted hiatus...but we are still here, being all awkward and caffeine-addicted. Don't worry about us. ;-)

Yikes. It's been a whirlwind! Becky G. was away in Boston and didn't have the opportunity to work on the podcast at all. We are so sorry.

Hey. We've got a question for you. What do Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. and Betty White have in common?

Their fight for justice.

Yes, really! Betty White was very vocal about her hatred of segregation, and, many years ago, risked her career to include talented Black performers on her talk show, when such a thing was unthinkable. We think she and Martin Luther King, Jr., would have gotten along quite well.

So, Happy 100th Birthday to a late, great national treasure, and today we choose to honor MLKJ for his legacy of peaceful but passionate protest! They're both incredible role models and we are fortunate to call them both heroes.

Hate is not welcome here. Cats are, though. 🐈‍⬛
