Bless Saturday good people!

This week I was honored to attend the PTA National LegCon Conference in Washington DC. This was a paid for trip so with that came rules. 👀

Everyone that attended had to fly together AND share rooms. Now you may say to yourself “okay, what is the problem”. Well those who know me and it’s only a few know I do NOT like sharing rooms. OMG my anxiety was high leading up to this trip. This is not my season financially because let me tell you had I had it, I would have simply got my own room but them DC prices my gosh, so I rolled with it and completely stepped out of my comfcomfort zone.

O I didn’t mention. This was my FIRST time being with these ladies in person. All our meetings are via zoom.

Guess what? It was a GREAT trip. I have no complaints with the airline or my roommate. I feel like God was on my side because he knew I was having a hard time. I mean to the point I was breaking out prior to the trip just thinking about it. LOL!

I’m glad it’s over and now moving on to a new adventure.

Life has a way of showing us that sometimes what we need is the unthinkable. Outgrowing your hometown is a “thing”. We needed more opportunities, more visuals, more knowledge of outside cultures and more leaning on us. This very day will always be apart of my story. The day I really left “home”.
