The Cinema Is Life Podcast If you would like to be on the show, or know someone who would make an interesting guest, send us a message.

Inspired by Brett Goldstein's Films To Be Buried With podcast, this show will take the same approach to profile the film preferences and experiences of the most interesting people I know - friends and family.

My old school Virginia Tech and FASA friends should fondly remember this week's guest, Jake. If you've ever wondered what he's up to these days, give his episode a listen.

We know a lot of cool juniors. You’ve got Sammy Davis Junior, Robert Downey Jr, Ken Griffey Jr, Dale Earnhart Jr. The sports world has its share of thirds: Robert Griffin III, Marion Barber III, Coac

This week’s guest Brian Cortez has experience behind the camera, making a living creating training videos. In college, he even put together a couple of short films, one of which was a sci-fi romp fea

One of the really great things I’ve gotten from doing this podcast is that it gives me an opportunity to reconnect with old friends or add layers to existing friendships. This week’s guest, Otto Hughey III, is a man I’ve known for a long time but have interacted with almost exclusively through my brother as an intermediary. It was awesome getting some one-on-one time with him. Otto is living the dream - a content creator in the video game space, you can catch him on his twitch.tv stream under the handle OHugheyIII. On top of our usual film talk, we chop it up about retail robberies and how pro wrestlers are like method actors. Let’s get into it.

Scheduling mishap last week, but we're back on track with a new episode. Check out my conversation with former co-worker Dylandra Holden. This New Orleans native brings some new films to the table, including a whopper of a first flick. I can think of worse ways to spend an hour. Give it a listen

This week, personal and professional worlds collide when I bring in Dylandra Holden. Dee is a former coworker of mine and one of the hidden heroes of our company for a number of years. She’s since mo

This week's guest and I go all the way back to the mid-90s when we were bagging groceries for tips at the commissary. Since then, he's gone on to become an award-winning photographer. We hadn't spoken in roughly 20 years, but you'd never know it from how much fun we had recording. Check out Handsome Boy Charlie Thrower on episode 13!

Today I get to catch up with Charlie Thrower. I’ve known Charlie since my first job bagging groceries for tips in high school. Since then Charlie’s turned a passion for photography into a full-on care

This week's episode will be delayed by a day. Attended a funeral for a friend's father this afternoon, and we are celebrating my mom's birthday this evening. Thanks for understanding. I promise it will be worth the wait.
