"What's Buried Under Your House?"

In Search Of The Perfect Garden for Louise Mars, Dylan Coleman-Blount scoured Kentucky looking for the best most bountiful garden, greenery, or greenhouse he could find. But as 'Hermes' was one of his 'Brain-egg' films it was bound to be disturbing, gorey, and not a film for the family.

He was turned away time and time again after describing the subject matter of his film 'Hermes', a feuding conniving couple with a lost schrodinger's cat...'No thank you' was an answer he received way too often. Distressed Dylan sat in his backyard and suddenly the world opened up to him like it often did in the past secretly and silently.

"I was sitting in my backyard and realized the former owners had left behind a dilapidated garden that had since been covered with overgrown ivy and bamboo."

"While filming the scene with Actor Gabrielle Miller and DP Goldie I'm not sure who suggested it but we decided to have Gabrielle exit under the house and start to dig."

What is she digging for?

"Well, that's up to the audience's interpretation. What's buried under your house?"

Taking Notes From George Méliès and Alejandro Jodorowsky.

With Out A Studio Available Or really Money in the Budget to rent space we turned to Our Creativity Once Again And Used What We Had.

"This system make of us slaves. Without dignity. WIthout depth. With a devil in our pocket. This, this incredible money are in the pocket. This money. This sh*t. This nothing. This paper who have nothing inside. Movies have heart. Boom-boom-boom. Have mind. Have power. Have ambition. I wanted to do something like that. Why not?"

Funny Behind the Scenes Photo of Actor Steve A Guynn and Director Dylan Coleman-Blount On Set of 'Hermes'

"Before Teaming with Sound Mixer Chris Polczinski On Netflix's House of the Witch as Boom Operator, I did a lot of sound work on my own short films." ~ Dylan Coleman-Blount

Originally in 'Hermes' Cult Icon Steve Guynn (Breakfast Impossible/Sharks of the Corn) was going to have his first full body n**e scene.

"You're a flesh and blood man!" Director Dylan Coleman-Blount kept shouting on set recalls Boom Operator and Long time Hyena Silver Motion Pictures alum Josh Gibby Gibson in regards to Steve's character Winslow Mars. "He was very adamant and supported bringing Male nudity back into Cinemas."

The scene ended up on the cutting room floor. Though discussions to reinsert it during the Italian release at X World occured the filmmakers agreed it distracted from the suspense.

with 'Papa Nogoody's House of Love' The 2nd Chapter in Our 'Brain-Egg' Trilogy. A RobertsBlountGoldberg production. This is one of the weirdest films we have made. But It was an honor working with so many talented artists on this one including Production Designer Mason Roberts who is a Powerhouse when it Comes to Creating Props, Set Design, and anything Art Related. Paul Eldred of Doctor Paul and DPCLB trusted Us in Casting Him as our Lead Character Dream Liam and we were lucky to be able to cast comedic personalties Monica Wain as the Hero's Heart Helen and Stand Up Comic Josh Gibby Gibson as this film's Lead Villain the Wacky Wade. This was the first time we collaborated with Cult Icon Steve A Guynn for our film. He played the Inbetweener Raphael Hazard and really elevated our film. This Dream of a Movie was Heightened with its beautiful soundtrack including Musical Greats Tom Carden, Mark Murray, Idiot Glee, Long Jumper, Donald Robert Vetter Lafleur, and Kenny Delver. Watch our film @ www.vimeo.com/hyenasilver/papanogoody or pop over to our YouTube Channel 'Hyena Silver' Link in the Bio. Written and Directed by Dylan Coleman Blount, watch for his cameo as The Scary as F**k Doublethink Demon. Captured by Cinematographer Jacob Goldie Goldberg. Not a film to be missed. Our Story

HYENA SILVER is a film studio located in Lexington, Ky. Dylan Coleman Blount & Jacob Goldberg have been making films since they’ve been walking. In their heads at least. 2011, is when they started this epic journey with ‘The Townie’, a feature length film capturing the lives of youthful depravity. Tunneling through the psychedellic dreams of Sandy Qule & Grady O’Grady, ‘The Townie’ captured a world hidden in the everlasting night. Following their foray with the feature film world, Dylan Coleman Blount teamed up with Zak Norton (of Loofo fame) Josh Gibson, Hannah Mayfield, and Mason Roberts for their first horror film. Winner of the Spotlight Short Film Bronze Award in 2015 for 'S.T.Z.' or ‘Sexually Transmitted Zombie’, Hyena Silver found an audience in the grotesque s*xual nightmares of unprotected s*x. Beyond the beyond Jacob Goldberg & Dylan Coleman Blount reunited and teamed up with Production Designer Mason Roberts to birth a prismatic tunnel of mystery or ‘Papa Nogoody’s House of Love’, the second part of their macabre ‘Brain-egg’ trilogy starring Paul Eldred, Monica Wain, Josh Gibson, and Steve Guynn. This exploration of slime and hidden meanings can be interpreted like a tarot card reading, different for every viewer. The following year Hyena Silver Studio grew with their third short, ‘Hermes’ or the horror of the human mind, a character study about a failed marriage starring Gabrielle Miller and Steve Guynn. Summer 2017 found Hyena Silver Studios tackle the adventure genre with their upcoming project ‘Tyrannosaurus Kincaid’. Throughout the years Hyena Silver Studio has worked with a plethora of talent, but with each new team comes the similar slogan: ‘it can be anything’. Hyena Silver will continue to push the boundaries of narrative cinema making mind altering & multi narrative films. Be calmed anxious viewer, the future is beautiful.
