OYIBI MANTSE INVOLVED IN A CLEAN UP EXERCISE

Nii Boye Okanshan vi, Oyibi Mantse involved in a general clean up exercise Saturday 21th August 2021 at Oyibi Community.

According to Nii Oyibi, as a leader he can't sit on his throne with his elders of the Oyibi Divisional Council and watch the youth and other Community members participating in a general clean up exercise only because as a leader, father and ruler of the Oyibi Community, he needs to set an example by involving himself in the exercise to encourage the youth and others.

Nii Boye Okanshan vi, Oyibi Mantse also added that, as a leader, sanitation is one of his priority that is why he always organizes his elders and youth of the community to help clean up the entire Community to become very clean. He said " Yes I am the chief but I can not sit and watch my Community to be dirty and also this is not the first or last time such activity is going on because on 11th September 2021, we shall organize another clean up exercise and am urging all the youth and members of my Community to come out massively to help.

Nii Oyibi finally informed our reporter that, This year Oyibi Yam Festival is coming on next Month from Monday 20th - 26th September which there would be another clean up exercise on 18th September to make the community clean towards the celebration of the Oyibi Yele Yeli 2021 so he is inviting everyone to come and experience the great culture of Oyibi Land.

For immediate release

NEXT NDC GOVERNMENT TO INTRODUCE “FA NINYINAA” POLICY FOR GHANAIAN STUDENTS WHO WILL BE ADMITTED TO TERTIARY INSTITUTIONS NEXT YEAR.

The National Democratic Congress (NDC), announces that it has accepted for incorporation in the Peoples’ Manifesto, the recommendation of the Education Policy Group of the party that the next NDC government absorbs the FULL school fees of Ghanaian students who will be admitted to tertiary institutions in the 2020/2021 academic year.

This policy is an enhancement of our commitment in the People's Manifesto to absorb 50% of the school fees of all tertiary students for the 2020/2021 academic year through the “KYEMUPE” policy, which will now apply to only continuing students in tertiary institutions in the country.

The Flagbearer of the Party, H.E John Dramani Mahama will in due course, throw more light on this enhanced package for Ghanaian students who be admitted to tertiary institutions next year dubbed, “FA NINYINAA”.

The Parliamentary Candidate for the NDC for Kpone katamanso Constituency on 2nd September 2020 pays a special visit to the traditional ruler of Oyibi NII BOYE OKANSHAN VI - Oyibi Mantse at the Oyibi Divisional Council.

This Year Oyibi Festival is coming on - Oyibi Divisional Council.

The principal elders, King makers and the overall ruler NII BOYE OKANSHAN VI- Oyibi Mantse has assured the people of Oyibi over the celebration of this year's Oyibi Yam festival.

According to Oyibi Divisional Council We are to celebrate this year's annual festivals successful and will comply with the Gorvenment protocol measures by implementing the Social Distance , wearing of masks, making availability of Veronica bucket with water, soap and hand sanitizers at the Traditional grounds to make this year's Yele yeli successful.

They also went on to say, Oyibi Yele yeli is an annual event which must always to celebrated because that is the special period and moment we worship our gods and also ask for blessings from them on to the people on Oyibi Land.

We are pleading on the government to come fix the Oyibi Junction road - OYA President.

President of the Oyibi Youth Association by name Enoch Alabi Nyomowoko sent his pleading message to the Gorvenment to come to their aid in Oyibi on Thursday 11th June 2020.

According to OYA president, Oyibi is now a busy area and with heavy trucks and millions of vehicles using that same Oyibi junction road to Volta Region, Eastern Region, Ashiaman, Adenta and many other areas but it looks as if the network of the road doesn't matters to our leaders.

Base on the poor road network, the traffic each morning from the main Oyibi junction to Valley view University is really terrible, also base on the bad road network, vehicles are been affected by breaking down each and every day so we are pleading with the Gorvenment or the road minister to come to our aid because we are suffering including the trotro drivers, taxi drivers, transport operators etc.

Enoch Alabi Nyomowoko, who is a also a politician told our reports that, even if the Gorvenment will love to collaborate with him and the Stakeholders in the community to help solve this poor road network, they are ready to help. He also added that, we are in election year and if they refused to fixed up on time, the people of Oyibi will decide.
