Breeding update! Anong magiging epekto sa SLP???

So recently, inupdate ng Sky Mavis ang breeding fees para maging triple ng current requirements sa SLP, tapos half ng previous AXS requirement.

May mga nagsabi, temporary fix lang daw to at band-aid - magpapump for a bit pero hindi tatagal.

#1 - There's never an end-all, be-all single solution dito. Kung gustong tumaas ang SLP, it's gonna be a SERIES of solutions, kaya don't expect na isang bagsak ang ilalabas nilang sagot. Baka matuyo na mata mo pag yun ang hinintay mo haha. Sensible din na step by step tweaks ang gawin nila, para kapag nagkamali e alam nila exactly anong irorollback, at di guguho yung buong economy.

#2 - I don't think naaappreciate enough yung effect nito sa fundamentals ng SLP: 3x na yung SLP na mabuburn. Last time na nagupdate nung Sept, dinoble yung SLP requirement sa breeding (total 6x na from then). I studied the data from https://www.axieworld.com/en/economics/charts?chart=slpIssuance, yung nagsasabi ng dami ng minted and burned SLP. Nahirapan ako magmake sense out of it, pero ito so far yung takeaways ko. Feel free to add more/correct me based sa data.

- Before yung Sep breeding update, 28.9% ng Minted slp ang average burned slp for that month. Nung nagupdate, umakyat ng 34% for Sept-Oct. Late Oct to early Nov, bumaba ng sobra yung % dahil sa sobrang dami ng Minted. Then umakyat after that, averaging 30+% until end of Nov. Ngayon, nasa 20% ang average so far. Recap: more burns = SLP price goes up. Mints = SLP goes down.
- Pababa yung % burned - dahil ba mas umonti ang breeders? Seems like data says yes - naging halos doble yung absolute number ng daily SLP burned, pero halos doble lang talaga. Meaning, effective yung pag doble ng breeding reqts - pero with the recent changes sa meta, 800 MMR rule, etc, I think nabawasan yung nagbibreed dahil sa profitability. Pero help yon to prevent uncontrolled Axie population boom, which is unsustainable.
- Sa tuwing may weeks na sobrang daming nagbibreed - expect another cycle na mababa uli, dahil nadadagdagan yung minimint na SLP. Yun exactly yung nangyayari recently - di significant change yung dami ng breeders, pero yung minted slp, ang laki ng nadadagdag.
- Yang previous reason din yung dahilan kung bat ayaw nilang lumipad ng one time big time ang SLP - high SLP usually follows a boom in new axie players, then a boom in SLP minting, therefore SLP crashing again, more volatility. Not sustainable. Happyng happy na ko noong stable ang price sa 3 pesos tbh. Any price basta stable is good for me kahit piso - kasi ibig sabihin mura lang din ang teams tapos madali din maproject ang returns.
- Triple SLP burn means, hopefully, with the same amount of breeders (tho tingin ko mababawasan sa simula dahil sa cost) - SLP price can have a slow, but constant incline, higit dun sa naunang 2x breeding cost update nung September. Triple e. Need din may maattract na new breeding investors tingin ko.
- IF! If this is enough for SLP to rise kahit 4 pesos up, makakaattract ng bagong team buys uli (like I said sa previous post) - tapos gugulong na uli yung pag-akyat ng SLP, at hopefully mabagal at sustainable.
- I would think the earliest mararamdaman yung change sa burning ay 5 days from now - kapag nahatch na yung last eggs na nabreed without triple SLP requirement.
- Important: Teams will cost a lot more din - yung absolute cost kasi ng breeding ay tataas rin.

Can't say for certain syempre, since, kahit devs ay figuring out yung proper balance, pero better chances for SLP para sakin tong last update.

Worth it pa ba mag-invest sa Axie Infinity?

Last week ko pa dapat sasagutin to nung nag 1.75 php ang SLP 😅
Isa sa common scenario ko kasi napansin mula nung July, maraming nagiinquire/bumibili pag mataas ang SLP (45k floor team), tapos nawawala sila pag mura ang SLP (25k floor team). Tapos habol uli kapag mahal na, when in fact may na-farm ka na sanang slp nung mura pa ang teams, tapos ibebenta mo pag tumaas na.

Mahirap naman din kasi malaman, dahil sa "risks" na cinoconsider natin diba.

Pero from an insider and experienced sa Axie as player, breeder, manager - ang sagot, ay mga tanong din:

- Are you in it for the long term?
- Ang iinvest mo ba ay something you can afford to lose? (Not literally, I mean yung perang okay lang di mo mahawakan ng matagal)
- Maeenjoy mo ba (o ng isko mo) ang games na mala-Chess at Pokemon?

Kailangan OO ang sagot sa lahat, hindi magandang dalawa lang.
Kasi pag hindi, baka maging emotional ka sa bawat galaw ng market o presyo ng token.

At kung oo, ngayon yung isa sa pinakaokay na opportunity para bumili, habang sobrang mura ng teams. Treat it as a Sale. Bakit?

Sobrang dami pa ng nasa Pipeline nila for development. Maraming marami pang Major Releases sa mga susunod na Buwan at especially sa entire 2022. Axie is in it for the long term. Habang unti unti naguupdate yung fundamentals ng SLP, I expect better price sa SLP, at sasabay din don yung presyo ng teams. Sila pa lang ata yung Play-To-Earn na almost 3 years na ang product? Anong kinaibahan nya sa ibang Play-to-earn na lumalabas nung mga nakaraang buwan? Minsan ang laki ng kita don nung nilabas, higit higit pa sa kita mo sa SLP. Pero marami rin sa kanila, either na rugpull na o na-slow rugpull (lugmok ang presyo tapos di na nagparamdam ang devs). Di lahat nagsstay na okay, kasi di kaya magdeliver ng devs kahit okay yung kita at minsan, yung concept. Ilan lang yung nagstay profitable with good product. Choose your poison - pero Axie is in the list for me.

Also - naiiwasan nila yung mistakes na naglulugmok sa mga NFT games - goes to show na either natutunan na nila yon sa tagal nila, o sobrang careful ng Devs bago gumawa ng kahit anong desisyon.

Kaninang umaga rin, nagpost sila ng statement - kung bakit hindi sila sobrang focused sa short-term, at more on sustainability ng game sa long, long term. Remember, before you buy a team: axie is a game first, before an investment. Tip: monitor this number kung gusto mo ma-feel kung tumataas o bumababa ang market prices.

Number of axies sold in the last 24 hours went up to 140k! At mukhang aangat pa.

Araw araw ko to minomonitor as a seller - average daily ay around 60k lang. Higher daily sale means higher demand for axies = nauubos yung floor-priced axies, magmamahal. And very likely, given meron pang Ronin Dex, mas mabilis magagamit yung WETH ng sales para gawing breeding supply (AXS/SLP), hopefully a little more SLP burned per day.

Axie teams are now more expensive too. Around 30% siguro ang inincrease ng prices vs 24hrs ago.

So kung nagaccumulate ka ng teams/isko nung time na 3php lang SLP at mura pa ang teams, congrats! Yon din naging mindset ko bandang sep/oct - anytime biglang puputok na ang SLP at Prices dahil sa upcoming updates.

Bat pumutok? Good reason din to buy SLP yung Ronin Dex, tingin ko. Dahil yun dun sa opportunity to earn sa pag-lock ng SLP mo para maging Liquidity Provider, kung san nageearn ka tuwing merong mageexchange ng coins.

I think, by holding SLP doon bilang Liquidity Provider, less sellers ng SLP sa market? Parang effect nung AXS staking. Baka magkaron na ng bagong base price ang SLP dahil dito. 4.5 - 5.5 php?

Nagamit na rin ng iba yung SLP para ipambili ng WETH, pambili ng axies = more demand for axies = more breeders! Although tingin ko light lang impact non.

Asahan din magmamahal yung price ng axies soon, dahil sa taas ng price ng SLP, taas ng price ng AXS (na posible din tumaas pa dahil sa Dex).

Tingin ko magpapahinga na ng onti yung SLP. Tapos tignan natin kung san sya magstabilize. Then let's see kung san pupunta!

AXIE ECONOMY UPDATE ++ SLP SELLING STRATEGY!

Ito na nga ang pinakahihintay nating update!!!!

What does this mean? SLP will be burned more! Twice the amount based dito. Expectations:

- SLP price will go up! Ang pessimistic scenario, magfaflat consolidation na sya. Pero I think it will reverse from its downtrend, kahit slowly.

- Axie prices will go up too - because of the breeding cost, and the new player demand once SLP price goes up.

I think, talagang sadyang sinaturate nila yung pool ng available SLP sa market for weeks - para maraming available na mabili ang breeders in a reasonable price. Balance lang, fair. Kasi kapag kakaunti ang nasa SLP minted pool, magssky rocket price ng SLP ulit, lilipad ng sobra uli ang dami ng new players, then after 2 weeks, overminted na naman? So I think they're going for a slow, more balanced uptrend. Then rebalance uli.

Ang longer term goal nila, ma-automate yung economy balance using Machine Learning/AI or something else. Numbers game naman e. Pero for now, manual muna syempre.

SLP Selling Strategy!

Again, tulad ng lagi ko binabanggit, always buy/sell coins in parts. Don't sell all in, don't buy all in, one time. Pwede naman, kung higher ang risk appetite mo. Pero personally, I use price targets for taking profit (see 2nd photo). Nahit na yung 2/3 targets ko sa immediate sells, meron pa kong mahohold na % ng total SLP. At least may secured na ko.

Usually, maglalagay ka dyan ng sell orders malapit sa mga Support/Resistance areas kasi don yung decision points ng market - kung bababa o tataas. By selling/buying doon, makakapwesto ka in a lower risk price, kesa hintayin mong tumaas ng todo pero hindi naman maabot, lalo ka lang natalo. Kung pano magidentify ng Support/Resistance areas? Yon na ang challenge ko sayo - it’s easy to learn sa youtube 🙂

At the end, magkakaron ng certain average price yung benta mo. Hindi sagad sa taas, hindi rin sagad sa baba. Pero nasecure yung profit. 🙂

So ito na nga! Ito na ang pinaguusapan natin sa past streams, kung anong "trigger" ang hinihintay ng devs para ayusin ang SLP fundamentals. Nagsalita rin nila sa wakas!

Mukhang sure din sila sa solution na balak nila, to decrease/remove AXS breeding cost.

Pero para sa'n yung delay? Sustainability.

Everyone witnessed gano sila nahirapan sa servers na punong puno ng new players. Who knows kung gano pa kabilis lalaki yung player base kung sakaling nagtuloy lumagpas sa 20php ang SLP noon? We don't want a boom and bust again and hundreds of thousands of disappointed players.

Considering yung roadmap nila and vision, balak nilang irelease mainstream sa iOS and Android ang game (w/ free to play version) soon, so probably nagaanticipate sila ng much bigger growth kesa sa nakita natin nung July, therefore nire-ready yung infrastructure ng game at ng Ronin for that.

Possible din na isabay 'yon sa Ronin Dex? Which is ON TOP PRIORITY right now according to Jihoz.

Mageexpect kaya tayo ng good news soon? End of season maybe? Or start of the next?

SLP just dipped to around 4.05 php!!!

Bakit? Anyare? Dahil nagcrash ang BTC in just a couple of hours.

Kung hindi pa kayo familiar, common effect ito ng BTC: large movement usually affects most other coins in the entire crypto market (see third photo). Sya nagdidictate ng general movement ng entire crypto market.

Mukhang Whales (o billionaire holders) ang nagdump ng BTC sa sobrang laki ng volume. Or may news ba 'kong na-miss? News are powerful catalysts too.

At the time of writing, may silver lining sa performance ng SLP dahil na-reject maigi sa super low price, meaning maraming nag-Buy nung pumalo sa ganong price. Maraming investor na nakaabang sa baba. Ganon din sa BTC. Pero hindi lahat ng coins.

Pero nobody knows, kung may kasunod pa tong dump o wala na. Baka may nag Take Profit lang sa taas. Pakape naman kayo dyan!

Meaning, possibly nerfs or buffs. Lessen/increase damage/effects of cards. Ano kaya sa tingin nyo manenerf or buff??? 👀👀
