🚐 We are back to traveling after a crazy May 😵‍💫 and while we want to talk about the trip we are embarking on, we have to talk about a huge life update; we got a PUPPY!!! 🐕

She has stolen our hearts 💕 and Sage is warming up to her quicker than we thought!

🐶 We have never raised a dog in a van before so we will have a whole new topic to talk about as we travel this summer 🌞 Can't wait to bring you all along!

Dreamed of catching the superbloom, but it wasn't meant to be. No worries, though! The beauty of Death Valley stunned us anyway - we even got caught in a surprise snowfall in the basin! 🌨️ Truly unforgettable.

Alabama is famous for many things, but did you know it has a state food that's as unique as it is delicious? We're talking about none other than the creamy, tangy, and utterly delectable White BBQ Sauce! And let's just say, it didn't disappoint. 🤤💖

Our verdict? The sauce was intriguing - a blend of flavors that danced on the palate and truly showcased the culinary creativity of the South. It's something we'd definitely recommend trying at least once for its novelty! But would we go back specifically for it? Perhaps, if a friend insisted because it's always fun to share unique food experiences with those we care about. 🍽️💫

As for the rest of the meal? It was delightfully satisfying! SAW's Soul Kitchen served up some soulful, hearty dishes that would easily draw us back in if we ever found ourselves roaming through Birmingham again. It's the kind of place you're glad to know about, making any visit to the area a bit more special. 🌟

One year ago Colorado had a bad cold snap, like 20 below zero! Kodiak and I ran away to Moab, UT to avoid the cold.

It was such an amazing trip and so beautiful! We had never visited Moab or Arches in the winter before, but it was so worth it. So enjoy this throwback photo from one year ago today!

1,500 days of 🚐 From an old half-ton van to upgrading just as 2020 hit. It's been an adventure filled with stress, panic, happiness, and joy. We've explored the world, become self-sufficient, and learned important life lessons. Our journey has taught us about true happiness, the meaning of joy, and not letting anyone trap our spirit. From Japan and Ireland to the South and New York City, we've experienced all kinds of cultures and discovered people are the same everywhere. Life on the road has taught us to appreciate both the good and the dark times, and we're grateful for every moment of this journey. So, what's next for us on this journey? Stay tuned!

We packed our bags, hopped into our charming red van, and set off on a journey to visit Kodiak's family. Little did we know, we'd encounter some of the largest trees on Earth in along the way! 🌳🌍

Walking among the towering giants, we felt like we were in a world of its own - a forest straight out of a fairy tale. It was an experience that truly made us feel humbled by the majesty of Mother Nature. 🌱🐾

However, our thirst for adventure didn't stop there. We ventured further to Kings Canyon and found it to be an equally captivating, yet less crowded and more budget-friendly alternative.🏞️💰
