SAVE THIS POST: Different ways to make money with DBA and other income streams.

I know this post is long but I really want it to give you ideas on the many different ways you can make money..

I've been selling online for over 10 years and here's what I immediately saw with DBA and all the ideas I have already come up with for earning potential which had the cha-chings blowing up in my head for me and my students.

🤑 Of course, customizing and reselling the digital products in the PLR hub (duh, I'm sure you knew that)
💰 and reselling DBA if you wanted to. 😉
💸 Using the done-for-you social media content to build your own theme pages with quotes and monetize through socials AND using them to provide a service for others who are overwhelmed with their socials. Who says you ONLY need to sell digital products to make money??
🤑 With all of the instructions teaching you how to build out your store, how to write emails, how to create content - you can develop skills and provide 1-on-1 services to help others in this niche. There are THOUSANDS of people in the digital marketing niche who need help setting up their store, emails, automations, etc.
💰 DBA has so many niches you can learn about. You can then use the knowledge you learn in those niches (fitness, beauty, taxes, manifestation, credit repair, WHATEVER) to build a faceless Instagram theme page, or a FB theme group and MONETIZE it.
💸 How do you build it? Posting tips, relatable content, how-to’s, quotes, and connecting with other brands and giving each other shoutouts to grow more - this way you will reach that target audience who needs help in the niche you choose.
🤑 How can you monetize? Selling your digital products in that niche (fitness planners, selfcare journals, ebooks, prints, etc), selling merch if you wanted to sell physical stuff, selling ad space (people pay you to promote their business on your page), affiliate marketing (promote products in the same niche and get a commission for it), getting paid by big brands to create a video about their product. And DBA is adding SO MANY new niches on July 1st. That's an ENDLESS amount of theme pages you can create.

I was a social media manager for over 7 years and all I did was build theme pages for people. This was my THING. So I KNOW what I'm talking about! Trust me on this.

Imagine 6 months from now you have 6 theme pages - and each one was ONLY making like 1000 a month. Plus the shops you’re gonna have with the bajillion products you can resell, plus (if you choose to) the money you’re gonna make reselling DBA because LOOK how much money you’ve made with it that is NOT in the “make money online” niche. You have PROOF it works.

And THEN you have a 1-on-1 service for social media management because of everything you’ve learned about social media…. And you make some money building people’s Stan stores…..

What I’m TRYING to say here is cha-ching, cha-ching, cha-ching!!

As someone who is NOT a big fan of MRR, THIS is the one I can vouch for without hesitation 💅

I'm a HUGE fan of having multiple streams of income and DBA helps with this and it's the reason why I recommend it to my students. It’s the ONLY MRR course I sell.

Now here are ways I personally make money and am able to hit $1k days (no, not everyday lol)
1. My own products: I have my own coaching membership which has 150+ members since February 1st. That's recurring revenue right there. Members are happy so I get paid every month even if I didn't sell any additional products. I also have my own products like digital planner templates in different niches, ai guides, mockup templates, social media templates, etc. I started a brand from scratch in September and I made $10k in 3 months and it was NOT in the "make money online" niche.
2. Affiliate: I have a few clients that use the funnel/site I use and I get 20% commission. Plus a few apps with affiliate links. And then sometimes my members will buy courses/products that I have taken and recommend. Those aren't MRR.
3. 1-on-1 services: like coaching and funnel building - this brings in a lot because I have an affordable DM coaching package. You can coach on anything you've been successful with yourself. So if you've lost weight, you can coach on that. If you're great at organizing, you can coach on that. Or you can provide a service. Learn a skill and provide a service while you build passive income streams.
4. MRR: I just bought DBA (Digital Boss Academy) because it fit in perfectly with my product suite but I've sold other MRR guides before in the past. I stopped selling them though cuz literally everyone has the same thing and I have my membership now. I don't feel the need to sell them anymore. I'm not big on MRR but I saw the value in DBA because of the different niches and the different ways to earn money with what you learn. And I've been making sales on it because I created a good offer with it. So if you are selling any type of MRR, make sure to create an irresistible offer where it's like "OMG, I can't pass that up!" for potential customers.

I got laid off in November and I have not needed to go find another job because I'm making enough with my business. And I'm a single mom in NYC. I've been selling online over 10 years in different things so it has come with experience, but coaching only for a couple years.

The are millions of people on social media and every single person has SOMETHING they wish they had and are in a space to learn something to make their life easier. They are looking for a solution to a problem they are having.

Take your knowledge and create a digital product that you can teach others with, or that you can solve a problem with. Attract the right audience and you will 👏 get 👏 paid 👏

It doesn’t matter what niche - I’ve seen some pretty wild things sold online! What matters is that you’re solving a problem and you stand out to people who need your solution.

If you’re waiting for things to FINALLY be exactly the way you wanted it to be to finally START >>>> it’s not happening.

No matter what, you’re gonna find something that you DON’T like and you want to change.

I’ll tell you from years of experience doing the online selling thing - waiting until things are perfect for me to finally put it out in the world only held me back. And I bet it’s holding you back too.

Because I bet you start with one idea, and then the next, and then you go back to the first one. And you start that project, but you don’t actually launch it because it’s not exactly perfect, and you still want to do more for the other idea you had………

And you get stuck in this never ending cycle of what ifs, and why can’t I just get this done and launch SOMETHING.

Every time you start a new idea or project, you’re escaping the “other” one because you’re afraid it’s gonna fail. Because you’re afraid that if you actually put it out there, no one is gonna care as much as you do.

But there ARE people who care - and you CAN find your people. But it takes LAUNCHING and putting it all out there. Because if it’s not out there, you can’t get it in front of eyeballs. If it’s not out there, you can’t get any data. If it’s not out there, how are you gonna know what to tweak to make it even better??

The success doesn’t happen overnight. And neither will your “final draft” happen overnight. But you’ll never get there if you don’t put your first draft out there.

Just START. Put up the first post. Put up your first freebie. Your first video. Whatever. But do SOMETHING. Because future you is depending on you to make this work and for you to just START.

Creating your own content - even the visuals 🤷‍♀️

We’ve all seen them - the repeated images that others are using, the images used from Canva, pexels, unsplash.. You know what I’m saying.

These are all good places to start if you are new and need to create content quickly. I wanna say 95% of my images/video are from Canva and other free platforms.

But as more people get online and start their own business, the more people that are using the same images, video, etc.

So here are some ideas of b-roll content you can record for your page. And if you don’t wanna record, you can pop these ideas into your favorite Ai apps that create images/video and use for your page.

Can you REALLY make money selling digital products??

I get the skepticism and thinking “”I just don’t know how I can turn _____ into a digital product..””

A digital product can be in ANY niche - seriously.

I remember about 9 years ago, when I first got hooked with selling an ebook passively, I had a coworker asking me how I was doing it.

We all worked closely together, so hearing the Paypal notifications come through, and me getting excited every time, made her curious.

I was not knowledgable in teaching my strategies at the time, but what I DID know was to say - “”you gotta find something you can make one time, and sell over and over””

LOL The confusion on her face trying to figure out how she’s gonna be able to make a bunch of cheesecakes at once and keep them fresh for when people wanna buy them.

And then me realizing that I could’ve worded that WAY better. So I start telling her about how she can make a guide or recipe book with different cheesecake recipes, ingredients for special seasonall variations, and tips to get the perfect cheesecake.

I don’t think she ever actually did anything with that advice, but the potential was there and is STILL there 9 years later.

People are on their phones half the day already scrolling on IG or FB and you can leverage that to catch their attention with YOUR brand, and sell them a product that they never thought they needed. In ANY niche!

So at this point - what are you waiting for? What is keeping you from starting SOMETHING??

With over 8 years at that point of doing all the businessy stuff online, and then coaching, I was burned outttt. So get this 👇👇

I took a whole year off from social media. Literally ghosted everyone.

These 4 things are a must when you start selling digital products - save for later!

I know all the info on the internet can be super overwhelming so here are 4 things that are a must for success when selling digital products.

Choose a Niche: Yes, we wanna be profitable, but we also want to love this longterm. And we want content creation to be EASY. If it’s something you are passionate about and you know you can create a product to solve a problem, you are GOLD. Picking a specific area helps you become the go-to person for it. This isn’t just about standing out—it’s about attracting the right people who get excited over the same things you do, and will need your help with it. When you nail this, selling becomes a whole lot easier.

Know Your Customers: Think of your customers as your online besties. Really get into what they love, what bugs them, and what they can’t get enough of. The better you understand them, the better you can give them what they are really wanting. Plus, when they see you know your stuff, and you keep coming up with products that they NEED, they’ll trust you more and keep coming back.

Be creative with your products: Don’t limit your product suite — expand it. Planners are cool, but what about adding online courses, how-to guides, or even digital templates for business owners in a specific niche? Offering a variety of products can hook different types of customers and keep things fresh. Plus, the more you offer, the more reasons people have to stick around and buy.

Build Your Traffic: You NEED a way to get people around you and knowing what you’re offering. Getting people to notice your products is key. Use different strategies to get in front of as many eyes as you can, create a social media plan with engaging posts, and test things out over and over to see which posts perform the best. More eyes on your products means more potential sales.

I get all the info on the internet can be super overwhelming because even with good info, you might not know exactly where to start.

I got blocked 🙊

Cold DMing... It’s freaking WIERD.

Someone friend requested me on a FB profile I use for my business.

She said she loved the vibe and that’s why they requested me.

I’ve never posted anything on that profile.. So I asked her what her favorite post was.

And then she messaged me with her whole business story instead of actually answering the question.

I TRY to give people a chance. Especially since I’m a business owner, I often have people reach out for help.

But this time, I got annoyed. I said “Lol” and then I questioned her when she asked me “Why so funny?”

I told her what I was feeling. I told her how I asked a question and she didn’t even reply. She just sent me stuff about her business.

And then she blocked me.

I give people chances all the time. And then they do this and it feels icky.

It feels like I’m getting hit on by the sleazy guy at a bar.

At least buy me dinner first 😳

I’m not gonna lie.. I’ve been that girl to message people about my stuff. Cuz that’s how I was taught. That’s what I learned. I was part one of “those” companies where it was all “Hey girl!” And then a whole paragraph about your biz.

I admit, it wasn’t my best moment 😣😣

When I started this business, I knew I wanted better. I knew I wanted a different approach.

I want people to come to MY DMs because what I have is something they WANT.

And after tweaking things over and over, that is what happens now. I don’t need to chase people down praying someone will read my story.

I will forever educate my clients on how to make sales WITHOUT having to do this nonsense.

It’s gross, it’s weird, and literally makes people feel uncomfortable immediately.

This is for you if you’re feeling overwhelmed in your business 😓

Do you have a never ending list of things you want to do in your business but unsure where to start? Are you feeling pressure because it feels like everything is important and needs to be done ASAP??

Here’s what I’ve learned in my business:

It’s ok to NOT do every single thing on your list.

Yes, you read that right. It’s ok to not do every single thing. It’s ok to take a step back if you need to. It’s ok for it to not be perfect.

If you don’t know, I had Covid a few weeks ago and I’m still struggling with extreme fatigue. So that means that I am not as productive as I want to be. AND if I need to step away, then that’s what I do. But of course, I want to keep seeing success in my business.

Here is what I’ve been doing to help me reduce overwhelm and still stay consistent with sales.

Out of my list of “to-do” items, I choose the MOST important thing that day that is going to get me the most results. This will be based on my goal for that day. So maybe I want to add more people in my FB group, close more sales, or get more sign-ups to my free masterclass. My main to-do that I complete will be based on my goal for that day.
Have systems in place so that I can still make sales without having to do too much work. I’ve talked about this before. It is SO helpful to have systems in place so you can make sales without so much effort.
Following up with DM convos. Connections with others are a BIG DEAL. No, I don’t have a ton of convos every single day because that would be draining. BUT I absolutely follow up with 5-7 convos every day because it matters to me to show people their questions are important and that they matter.

Maybe you can only do ONE thing today. Maybe you can do FIVE. What matters is that you do your best 🥲

It doesn’t have to be all or nothing 💜

Is your Brand attracting or repelling? 🤔🤔

What in the world is a brand and why is it important?

Your brand is a representation of YOU, your business, your offer, your potential client, etc.

It is so much more than just colors and pretty fonts.

Your brand is representative of what you want your audience to FEEL and what your message is.

When you have a clear brand identity and voice, you speak directly to the heart of your audience, and you will ATTRACT amazing people to your business who WANT to work with you.

They will feel SEEN, they will feel HEARD, and they will feel UNDERSTOOD.

Nothing is better than finding a coach or service provider who makes it feel like their business was made specifically for YOU.

I don't know about you, but that's the goal for me. I want to attract dream clients. I want to build a ready-to-buy audience. This was a huge struggle for me when I believed it's just pretty colors and fonts. But it's so much more than that.

I ghosted everyone for a week 🥺

And I still signed on 2 clients.

This was never something I could do before. If you follow my posts, you know I had Covid.

It kicked my butt, and as much as I wanted to be online every day, DMing people who have messaged me, and creating trainings, I just COULDN'T.

I was FORCED to take a break.

I was FORCED to step away and rest and take care of myself.

This has never happened to me.

I've had such amazing growth in my business in the last 2 months, and I was scared that taking a whole week off would mean a week without income.

I have big goals in my business and in my life.

I want the big house, I want to move to the nice neighborhood, and I want to be out of debt. So taking a whole week off (or more) was NOT in my plans.

But I had no choice.

I didn't post for over a week.

I didn't close sales in the DMs for over a week.

I didn't help anyone for over a week.

And guess what.. I still gained 2 clients in that week.

I made a ton of sales on my small training/bundle.

Like... WHAT??

I am able to come back after Covid feeling at peace knowing that my business was still running even if I had to take some time off.

I've had DOZENS of conversations in my DMs I've had to follow up with - and still catching up.

I STILL attracted over 200 leads to my business. In ONE WEEK.

You know why this happened?? Because I have been taking the time to build my brand. I've been spending the time to set up systems in my business. I've been carefully and authentically building REAL relationships with people. So even when I took time off, I STILL GOT PAID.

Last year, I wouldn't have been able to do this. I spent way too much time on socials, I didn't sell through the DMs (all my business was through word of mouth), and I had NO systems to make any passive income.

Having Covid and running a business - What I’ve learned.

1. Do the bare minimum or nothing at all - your clients will understand. Sometimes just sitting at my desk for 20 minutes takes all my energy.

2. It won’t all get done and that’s ok. I haven’t posted on IG for a week 😳 And guess what? Everyone has survived.

3. Have the pieces in place and systems together in your business so that when you have to take some time off, you can still earn an income.

Something that has stood out to me the most this week in my business is that if you’ve put the pieces in place, you can make sales even when you’re in bed all day.

I took a year off from my business because I needed to focus on my mental health. I didn’t have those systems in place, so I made no money. I came back April 2022. Just a month and a half ago. I’ve been out all week sick and in bed doing the bare minimum.

And I still made more THIS WEEK than I did in the whole year that I stepped away - hint, I made nothing when I took that break, cuz I had nothing in place to do so.

Do you have the processes in place so that you can make money even when you’re sick in bed all day? Even when you’re sleeping? When you’re sitting at an event? Yes, that has happened to me lol
