is housed in a unique Art Nouveau building with a hundred years of history. Located in Faro, in the south of Portugal, the hotel opened after being redesigned by .plataformadearquitectura
The hotel still retains the magical bourgeois atmosphere of the 1920s, but it is also a concept of recovering an almost lost authenticity on an architectural and historical level. For this reason, relevant elements of Art Nouveau architecture and materials have been preserved.

is the renovation of an abandoned traditional Menorcan farmhouse that has been transformed into both a boutique hotel and a consciously organic farm. Set in unspoiled wilderness, the 14-room Son Blanc is an ode to rural life, slowing down time and the simple things in life. Son Blanc has a poetic architectural expression, with the main building retaining its original vaults and arches, and its spaces open to the outdoors. The materials used in the interiors are also simple, unadorned and mostly raw.

designed the interior of this home in Vancouver’s Kitsilano neighborhood based on the principles of Yin & Yang and Feng Shui. With an ambiance that is both serene and energetic, everything from the aesthetics to the color palette of the rooms is inspired by Feng Shui principles. Black and white were chosen for the main areas of the home. “We wanted to create a dramatic space that was both elegant and understated,” says Phyllis Lui of Kalu Interiors.

Do you like reflecting pools? If so, you’ll like the Bridgehampton Beach House project in the Hamptons. Because the highlight of the house, designed by and , is its curved canopy with a reflecting pool on the roof (please see second photo). But that’s not all. The house itself is U-shaped. Both straight and curved lines are incorporated into the form.
And details: The furniture used in the house was selected from Isamu Noguchi, Kelly Wearstler and Louise Liljencrantz.

Two hours from New York, this house dates back to 1900. Renovated by , the ambiance of the house was achieved by using antique furniture pieces, light fixtures, objects and natural materials, textures and wallpapers sourced from local boutiques.
“We felt the renovation needed to respect the original layout and details of the house,” says Liz Lipkin.
“Almost everything sourced was antique or vintage, so there was a lot of wood,” says Liz Lipkin. “And new pieces were made from natural materials”.

The house, whose architecture belongs to Industry of All Nations, is designed entirely on sustainability. It can be described as a shelter designed for privacy and tranquility. We should also note that the Landing House, where a strategically planted Yucca tree welcomes guests, can be rented from Homestead Modern.

The inspiration for the architecture of the boutique hotel Homa on Serifos Island is directly linked to its name. The exterior of Homa, which means “earth” in Greek, is a combination of industrial earth beige and a plastered wall in the color of Vagia sand. The huge rocks jutting out from the walls blend magnificently with the wild natural environment. In the interior, there are generally traces of sophisticated minimalism. The architectural design of Homa, which consists of three independent villas, each with two bedrooms and a small living area, belongs to Mold Architecture.

Located high in the rugged southern coastal mountains of Baja California Sur (Mexico), the architectural design of this house project belongs to Ponce de Leon Barragan Arquitectos, the architectural office of Arturo Ponce de León and Ivette A. Barragán. The interior design of the house was made by Rania Nasser’s
“The brief was to create a tranquil retreat so we opted for a neutral palette layered with rich textures and monochromatic patterns for interest and depth,” says Rania Nasser. “To add warmth, we chose warm wood tones throughout the home. I wanted to create an atmosphere where one felt as though they were on vacation at a luxury resort and wanted to linger”.
Baja California Sur’un (Meksika) yüksek engebeli güney kıyı dağlarının üzerinde yer alan bu ev projesinin mimarı tasarımı Arturo Ponce de León ve Ivette A. Barragán’ın ofisi Ponce de Leon Barragan Arquitectos’a ait. Evin iç tasarımını ise Rania Nasser’ın RN Interior Design ofisi yapmış. “Amaç sakin bir dinlenme ortamı yaratmaktı. Bu nedenle derinlik için zengin dokular ve tek renkli desenlerle katmanlandırılmış nötr bir paleti tercih ettik” diyor Rania Nasser.

The design of this house, one of escapefromsofa’s latest projects in Istanbul, was inspired by midcentury modern style. To create this bohemian and dramatic design fiction, an Italian parquet produced from mutenya wood was used on the general floors of the house. Eucalyptus veneer, which creates a contrasting color with this parquet, is the main material of the walls and doors. The material of the staircase banister on the upper floor is very different: it is made of Iranian travertine.

This house project, 25 minutes away from city center, was designed with inspiration from the hotel. Sha Wang from Space 9 Interor Design, who carried out the design, describes the project as follows:
“The Aman Tokyo, which happens to be my favorite hotel, served as a major inspiration for this project. It was a truly enjoyable experience to bring a world-class hospitality feel into a single residential project.
The homeowners discovered me through Instagram, and after a brief 30-minute conversation, we swiftly proceeded to sign the design proposal, solidifying our collaboration. The client’s taste and design brief were an exact match for my own design style and lifestyle and as I delved into the design process, I felt a genuine excitement knowing that the interior space we were creating would embody my own signature style”.

Imagine a chalet where you are teleported to your childhood memories, the vintage atmosphere of the 1970s, and the music and records of that period as soon as you step inside. This chalet, owned by Lyndon Cormack, co-founder of travel and accessories brand Herschel Supply, is such a place. “It is a practical and perfect chalet inspired by the 1970s modern lounge aesthetic, with walls full of modern art,” says Cormack about the house in the Canadian town of Whistler.
“Although Lyndon was a modernist at heart, he rejected the idea of creating a modern architecture when he thought of building a chalet in Whistler for his family,” says Mark Burkart of , who designed the house.

Magnificent views of the Highland Bowl and Elk Range, the wonderful contrast of bright red&white stripes on white snow and a vintage atmosphere inspired by beach clubs in Miami.
Aspenx Beach Club opens its new season as of the end of this month. This mountain beach club, which has a ticketed entrance fee, is open on Fridays and Saturdays.

I think AI performs best when designed as a supplementary tool, rather than a replacement for us. Our intelligence and our skills are very different”

- “Rather than focusing on words and their popularity, as Timothy Morton suggests, I believe we should focus more on rebuilding a new ecological way of thinking. And to succeed we must go beyond the environmental apocalyptic thought in simplicist terms”
