I encountered a homeless man and asked him if he would spend $20 on beer. He replied that he hadn't had a beer in years. I then inquired if he would buy fishing gear with the $20, and he said no, as he hadn't been fishing in over two decades. So, I proposed something better: I would take him home, help him get cleaned up, and my wife would prepare a wonderful meal for him. Afterward, I would bring him back and still give him $100. He asked if my wife would be upset, to which I replied that it didn't matter. I just wanted her to see the transformation that can happen to a man when he stops drinking and fishing!
