Podcast Episodes Coming Soon!

Admittedly, my first summer as a youth director was much busier than I expect, from June 1st to July 22 I only spent a total of a week and a half at home. Oh, also, I moved in the middle of the summer. This is the first week of "normal" I've had all summer. There are many other reasons why we weren't able to record as well but we are happy to be back!

With that all being said, enjoy my simplified podcasting setup. I look forward to releasing episodes soon!

I was talking with some friends this week and one of them said something along the lines of, "If we don't practice the first four commandments, then it will be really hard to disciple and reform a church." This statement really challenged me. Often we are so focused on transforming culture, yet we fail to follow the first four commandments as if there are bigger fish to fry. What bigger "fish" is there than the worship of the one true God? Maybe it would be easier to overcome sin if we meditated on and practiced these commands. Maybe we would see further cultural transformation if Christians took these commandments serious. Admittedly, this post has many layers and I hope to work through these layers either through the podcast or through writing. But for now, I hope this post either challenged you or encouraged you.
