18th District-Homicide by Shooting Incident Update

On Thursday, October 29th, 2020 at approximately 7:25 P.M., Police responded to the 53XX block of Irving Street for E-911 call for a person with a gun. A 38 year old black male suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the left leg and torso. He was transported by Police to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center where he was pronounced at 7:52 P.M. The victim was later identified as Amir Boston of the 7XX block of South Frazier Street. The scene was held, no arrest and a weapon was recovered. The investigation is active and ongoing with Homicide Detectives Division. Motive and Suspect: Unknown

24th District-Homicide by Stabbing Incident Update

On Thursday, October 29th, 2020 at approximately 12:12 A.M., Police responded to the 29XX block of Kensington Avenue for E-911 call for person with a weapon and person stabbed. A 45 year old white male suffered stab wounds to chest and back. He was transported by PFD-Medic Unit to Temple University Hospital where he was pronounced at 12:46 A.M. The victim was later identified as William McElhenny of the 3XX block of South Broad Street. The scene was held, a weapon was recovered and no arrest. The investigation is active and ongoing with Homicide Detectives Division. Motive: Argument Suspect: Unknown


1st District- Homicide by Shooting Incident Update

On Wednesday, October 28th, 2020 at approximately 10:53 P.M., Police responded to the 24XX South Bouvier Street for E-911 call for a person with a gun and male shot on the highway. A 37-year-old white male was located inside a Ford van with gunshot wounds to the upper right chest. The van had crashed into several park unattended vehicles. He was transported by PFD-Medic Unit to Jefferson University Hospital and was pronounced on Thursday, October 29th, 2020 at 1:18 A.M. The victim was later identified as Joseph Toms of the 22XX block of South Bouvier Street. The scene was held, vehicle was held and no arrest. On Thursday, October 29th, 2020 at approximately 7:05 A.M., Police responded to 10XX block of Stevens Terrace for E-911 call for a plastic shopping bag containing a stick of dynamite and M-80 outside a private residence under a tree. The staging area is on 61XX block of Algon Avenue. PPD-Bomb Squad enroute, no evacuations, no injuries and scene being held.

15th District- Stabbing Incident

On Thursday, October 29th, 2020 at approximately 3:18 A.M., On the 45XX block of Paul Street a 35-year-old black male was stabbed (3) times in the back of the head and has slashes on both arms. He was transported by PFD-Medic Unit to Temple University Hospital and is currently listed in stable condition. The scene was held, a weapon was recovered, and arrest was made. The investigation is active and ongoing with Northeast Detectives Division.


15th District-ATM Explosion Incident

On Thursday, October 29th, 2020 at approximately 1:00 A.M., On the 71XX block of Hegerman Street a ATM was imploded outside a pizza store. No money was taken from machine and the scene was held. There were 4 to 5 black males seen running away from the location. The PPD-Bomb Squad responded to the scene and no reported injuries.



24th District-Homicide by Stabbing Incident

On Thursday, October 29th, 2020 at approximately 12:13 A.M., On the 29XX block of Kensington Avenue a white male in his 30's suffered stab wounds to the left side and right side of the body. He was transported by PFD-Medic Unit to Temple University Hospital where he was pronounced at 12:46 A.M. The scene was held, a weapon was recovered and no arrest. The investigation is active and ongoing with Homicide Detectives Division.

35th District- ATM Explosion Incident

On Thursday, October 29th, 2020 at approximately 12:13 A.M., At a PNC Bank located on 4XX block of West Tabor Road there was ATM explosion in the drive thru. A group of males were seen running away from the location. The scene was held, no injuries reported, no arrest and PPD-Bomb Squad responded. The investigation is active and ongoing with Northwest Detectives Division.



18th District-Explosion Incident

On Wednesday, October 28th, 2020 at approximately 11:36 P.M. A Septa Kiosk machine exploded at the Septa Market-Frankford Line Station on Frankford Avenue and Margaret Street. A group of males were seen running away from the location southbound on Margaret Street and enter a burgundy SUV with New York tags. The vehicle was last seen going eastbound on Ludlow Street. Septa Police responded and PPD-Bomb Squad. The scene was held, no injuries and no arrests. The investigation is active and ongoing with Southwest Detectives Division.

On Wednesday, October 28th, 2020 at approximately 10:53 P.M., On Bouvier Street and Ritner Street a 33-year-old white male was located inside a vehicle with gunshot wounds to the upper right chest and shoulder. He was transported by PFD-Medic Unit to Jefferson University Hospital and was pronounced on Thursday, October 29th, 2020 at 1:18 A.M. The scene was held, vehicle was held and no arrest. A 20-year-old black male suffered multiple gunshot wounds throughout the body. He was transported by Police to Temple University Hospital where he was pronounced at 7:14 P.M. The victim was later identified as Santee Weddington of the 2X Shelton Lane, Levittown, Pennsylvania. The scene was held, no arrest and no weapon recovered. A 36-year-old black male suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the torso. He was transported by PFD-Medic Unit to Temple University Hospital where he was pronounced at 4:11 P.M. The victim was later identified as Richard Bond of the 11XX block of Grovania Avenue, Abington, Pennsylvania. The scene was held, no arrest and no weapon recovered. A 40-year-old black female was shot (1) time in the left shoulder while seated inside a Nissan pickup truck. She was transported by PFD-Medic Unit to Temple University Hospital where she was pronounced at 4:44 A.M. The victim was later identified as Brenda Murray of the 20XX block of North 19th Street. MALE WAS TRANSPORTED BY PRIVATE VEHICLE TO EPISCOPAL HOSPITAL THEN TRANSFERRED TO TEMPLE HOSPITAL WHERE HE WAS PLACED IN CRITICAL CONDITION . SCENE HELD. NO WEAPONS RECOVERED. NO ARRESTS

25th District-ATM Explosion Incident

On Wednesday, October 28th, 2020 at approximately 4:57 A.M., Police and Fire personnel responded to 35XX block of Germantown Avenue for ATM explosion inside convenience store and deli. The ATM was blown up inside, money box is secure, no injuries and PPD Bomb Squad was notified. The investigation is active and ongoing with East Detectives Division.



15th District-Homicide by Shooting

On Wednesday, October 28th, 2020 at approximately 3:43 A.M., On the 46XX block of Paul Street a black female victim in her late 30's was shot (1) time in the left shoulder on the highway. She was transported by PFD-Medic Unit to Temple University Hospital where she was pronounced at 4:44 A.M. The scene held, no arrests and no weapons recovered. The investigation is active and ongoing with Homicide Detectives Division.

3rd District-Double Shooting Incident

On Wednesday, October 28th, 2020 at approximately 1:56 A.M., Police responded to the 7XX block of South Christopher Columbus Boulevard for E-911 call for a shooting on the highway. Victim #1- A 30-year-old white male suffered gunshot wound to his back. He was transported by Police to Jefferson University Hospital and is currently listed in stable condition. Victim #2- A 18-year-old black male suffered a graze wound to the right shoulder. He was treated on the scene by PFD-Medic Unit. The scene was held, no arrest and no weapon recovered. The investigation is active and ongoing with South Detectives Division.

39th District-ATM Explosion Incident

On Wednesday, October 28th, 2020 at approximately 1:34 A.M., Police responded to the 28XX block of North Broad Street Conoco Gas Station for E-911 call for report of an ATM explosion in front of the gas station. No injuries reported, no money was taken, scene was held , no arrest and PPD Bomb Squad was notified. The investigation is active and ongoing with Northwest Detectives Division.

18th District- Shooting Incident

On Wednesday, October 28th, 2020 at approximately 1:27 A.M., on the 55XX block of Chestnut Street a 26-year-old black male was shot (3) times in his back while sitting in his car on the highway. He was transported by private vehicle to Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and is currently listed in stable condition. He will be transported to Penn Presbyterian Medic Center by Medic Unit. No scene located at this time, no arrest and no weapon recovered. The investigation is active and ongoing with Southwest Detectives Division


26th District-Barricade Incident

On Wednesday, October 28th, 2020 at approximately 1:13 A.M., Police responded to the 1XX block of West Diamond Street for E-911 call for a report of a person with a gun and gun shots on the highway. A male was seen by a witness going inside the Happy Times Bar. Police declared the barricade at 2:04 A.M. The staging area was at Mascher and Diamond Street. At 2:35 A.M., a male (bar owner) was apprehended without incident. The scene was held. The investigation is active ongoing with East Detectives Division.

24th District- Shooting Incident

On Wednesday, October 28th, 2020 at approximately 1:01 A.M., Police responded to 36XX block of Jasper Street for E-911 call for shooting on the highway. Victim #1-A 30-year-old white male was shot (2) times in the right foot. He was transported by Police to Temple University Hospital and is currently listed in stable condition. Victim #2- A 33-year-old white female was shot (1) time in the right foot and (1) time in the right knee. She was transported by PFD-Medic Unit to Temple University Hospital and is currently listed in stable condition. Victim #3- A 38-year-old white male was shot (1) time in the left hand and (1) time in the right hand. He was transported by PFD-Medic Unit to Temple University Hospital and is currently listed in stable condition. The scene was held, no arrests made, and no weapons recovered. 22nd District- ATM Explosion Incident

On Wednesday, October 28th, 2020 at approximately 12:55 A.M., On the 9XX block of North 29th Street inside Lee's Kitchen 5 to 6 black males blew up the atm inside the restaurant. Doers fled southbound on 9XX block of North 29th Street. No injuries, money box secure, damage to atm and inside of restaurant, the scene was held, no arrests and PPD-Bomb Squad was notified. The investigation is active and ongoing with Central Detectives Division.


39th District- ATM Explosion Incident

On Wednesday, October 28th, 2020 at approximately 12:46 A.M., On the 41XX block of Ridge Avenue inside Sunoco Gas Station 5 to 6 black males blew up the atm inside the store. No injuries, no cash was taken. The males fled in separate cars. PPD-Bomb Squad was notified. The investigation is active and ongoing with Northwest Detectives Division.

On Tuesday, October 27th, 2020 at approximately 11:48 P.M., on the 45XX block of Castor Avenue WAWA Store an ATM was blown up inside the store. Damage to the monitor, money box secure, scene was held, no arrests and PPD-Bomb Squad was notified. The investigation is active and ongoing with Northeast Detectives Division.



15th District- Shooting Incident

On Tuesday, October 27th, 2020 at approximately 11:15 P.M., Police responded to Jefferson-Frankford Hospital for E-911 call for shooting victim that arrived by private vehicle. A 35-year-old black male suffered gunshot wound to the abdomen. He is currently listed in critical condition. Location of incident is unknown at this time, no arrest and no weapons recovered. The investigation is active and ongoing with Northeast Detectives Division.

On Tuesday, October 27th, 20202 at approximately 9:49 P.M., on the 5XX block of South 54th Street, a 23-year-old black male was shot (1) time to the left shoulder by a known doer. 24th District- Shooting Incident

On Tuesday, October 27th, 2020 at approximately 9:19 P.M., on the 23XX block of East Allegheny Avenue a 29-year-old black male was shot (1) time to the left arm and a graze wound to the forehead. He was transported by private vehicle to Temple University Hospital-Episcopal Campus and is currently listed in stable condition. 22nd District- ATM Explosion Incident

35XX N 2ND ST, ON THE HIGHWAY, OCCURRED 8:17 A.M., A 40 YEAR OLD HISPANIC MALE WAS STABBED 3 TIMES (1X-CHEST/1X-LEFT SHOULDER & 1X-LEFT BICEP). HE WAS TRANSPORTED TO TEMPLE UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL BY PFD-MEDIC UNIT AND IS CURRENTLY LISTED IN STABLE CONDITION . SCENE HELD AND NO ARREST.

A 20-YEAR-OLD BLACK MALE WAS SHOT TWICE IN THE LEFT LEG AND TWICE IN THE RIGHT LEG. THE INCIDENT OCCURRED ON THE 13XX BLOCK OF WEST GLENWOOD STREET. ON MONDAY, OCTOBER 26TH, 2020 AT APPROXIMATELY 11:49 P.M., POLICE AND FIRE RESPONDED TO THE 6XX BLOCK OF WENDOVER STREET FOR AN E-911 CALL FOR EXPLOSION. UPON ARRIVAL THEY FOUND AN ATM HAD EXPLODED. THE SCENE WAS HELD AND NO ARREST. THE INVESTIGATION IS ACTIVE AND ONGOING WITH NORTHWEST DETECTIVES DIVISION. OFFENDERS: (2) BLACK MALES





6TH DISTRICT-STABBING INCIDENT

ON MONDAY, OCTOBER 26TH, 2020 AT APPROXIMATELY 11:49 P.M., ON THE 1XX BLOCK OF NORTH 10TH STREET INSIDE A COMMERCIAL PROPERTY ON THE 2ND FLOOR, A 24-YEAR-OLD ASIAN MALE WAS STABBED 1 TIME TO THE HEAD. HE WAS TRANSPORTED BY PFD-MEDIC UNIT TO JEFFERSON UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL AND IS CURRENTLY LISTED IN STABLE CONDITION. ONE ARREST MADE, 2 WEAPONS RECOVERED AND THE SCENE WAS HELD.



22ND DISTRICT- SHOOTING INCIDENT

ON MONDAY, OCTOBER 26TH, 2020 AT APPROXIMATELY 10:15 P.M., POLICE RESPONDED TO THE 22XX BLOCK OF NORTH VAN PELT STREET FOR REPORT OF A PERSON WITH A GUN ON THE HIGHWAY. A 35-YEAR-OLD BLACK MALE WAS SHOT 1X IN THE LEFT BUTTOCK BY AN UNK DOER. HE WAS TRANSPORTED TO TEMPLE UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL BY POLICE AND IS CURRENTLY LISTED IN STABLE CONDITION. THE SCENE WAS HELD, NO ARREST AND NO WEAPON RECOVERED. THE INVESTIGATION IS ACTIVE AND ONGOING WITH CENTRAL DETECTIVES DIVISION.





16TH DISTRICT-HOMICIDE BY SHOOTING UPDATE

ON MONDAY, OCTOBER 26TH, 2020 AT APPROXIMATELY 2:18 P.M., POLICE RESPONDED TO THE 48XX BLOCK OF WESTMINSTER AVENUE FOR E-911 CALL FOR A PERSON WITH A GUN. A 44-YEAR-OLD BLACK MALE WAS LOCATED IN A PRIVATE RESIDENCE WITH A GUNSHOT WOUND TO THE FACE. A PFD-MEDIC UNIT PRONOUNCED THE VICTIM ON THE SCENE AT 2:24 P.M. THE VICTIM WAS LATER IDENTIFIED AS BARRY TORRENCE OF THE 48XX BLOCK OF WESTMINSTER AVENUE. THE SCENE WAS HELD, NO ARREST AND NO WEAPON RECOVERED. 18th District- Explosion Incident
On Monday, October 25th, 2020 at approximately 1:08 A.M., Police responded to the 50XX block of West Market Street for E-911 call for an ATM explosion outside of "Sammy's Sports Bar". The money box was cut out. An accelerant was placed inside. The entire top of ATM machine was removed. No injuries reported, the scene was held, and cameras are being checked in the area. Philadelphia Police Bomb Squad responded to the scene. The investigation is active and ongoing with Southwest Detectives Division.



22nd District-Homicide by Shooting Incident Update
On Friday, October 23rd, 2020 at approximately 8:07 P.M., Police responded to the 17XX block of North 31st Street for E-911 call for a person with a gun on the highway. A 33-year-old black male victim suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the chest. He was transported by Police to Temple University Hospital where he was pronounced at 8:15 P.M. The victim was later identified as Daniel Robinson of the 31XX block of Tasker Street. The scene was held, no arrest and weapons were recovered. On Saturday, October 24th, 2020 at approximately 12:22 A.M., Police responded to the 5XX block of East Duval Street for E-911 call for person with a gun on the highway. A 17-year-old black male victim was lying next a Ford vehicle with multiple gunshot wounds to the body. He was pronounced on the scene by PFD Medic Unit at 12:41 A.M. The victim was later identified as Hanif Poles of the 84XX block of Temple Road. The scene was held, a weapon was recovered and no arrest. On Saturday, October 24th, 2020 at approximately 7:56 A.M., Police responded to the 62XX block of Christian Street for E-911 call for a person with a gun on the highway. A 25-year-old black male victim suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the body. He was transported by Police to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center where he was pronounced at 8:24 A.M. The victim was later identified as Lewis Hansford of the 54XX block of Arch Street. The scene was held, no arrest and no weapon recovered. The investigation is active and ongoing with Homicide Detectives Division.

On Sunday, October 25th, 2020 at approximately 2:09 A.M., Police responded to the 64XX block of Rising Sun Avenue for E-911 call for a person with a gun and shooting on the highway. A 37-year-old black male victim suffered gunshot wounds to the head and buttocks. He was transported by Police to Albert Einstein Medical Center where he was pronounced at 2:36 A.M. The victim was later identified as Kenan Snell of the 82XX block of Temple Road. The scene was held, no arrest and no weapon recovered. 12nd District-Homicide by Shooting Incident Update
On Saturday, October 24th, 2020 at approximately 9:45 A.M., Police responded to the 80XX block of Lyons Avenue for E-911 call for a hospital case on the highway. A 21-year-old black male victim was located in rear yard with a gunshot wounds to the head, stomach and foot. He was pronounced on the scene by PFD Medic Unit at 9:50 A.M. The victim was later identified as Joseph Konneh of the 61XX block of Elmwood Avenue. The scene was held, no arrest and no weapon recovered. On Sunday, October 25th, 2020 at approximately 11:38 A.M., Police responded to the 3XX block of North 62nd Street for E-911 call for a shooting on the highway. A 24-year-old black male victim suffered gunshot wound to the stomach. He was transported by Police to Lankenau Medical Center where he was pronounced at 2:16 P.M. The victim was later identified as Takieyn Harris of the 3XX block of North 62nd Street. The scene was held, no arrest and a weapon recovered. 22nd District-Homicide by Stabbing Incident Update
On Sunday, October 25th, 2020 at approximately 8:23 P.M., Police and Fire Engine responded to the 29XX block of West Girard Avenue for E-911 call for a house fire and people trapped. The fire was extinguished at which time a 27-year-old black female victim was located with multiple stab wounds. She was pronounced on the scene by PFD Medic Unit at 9:00 P.M. The victim was later identified as Devin Gold of the 29XX block of West Girard Avenue. The scene was held, no arrest and no weapon recovered. The investigation is active and ongoing with Homicide Detectives Division.

22nd District- Arson Incident
On Friday, October 23rd, 2020 at approximately 2:48 A.M., Police and Fire responded to the 29XX block of Edgley Street for a E-911 call for an unoccupied 2003 ford expedition that was on fire. PFD Engine extinguished the fire at 3:19 A.M. A rag and an accelerant were located on location. The Fire Marshall declared it an arson. The scene was held, no injuries and no arrest. The investigation is active and ongoing with Central Detectives Division.



22nd District-Shooting Incident
On Thursday, October 22nd, 2020 at approximately 10:18 P.M., Police responded to the 30XX block of West Gordon Street for E-911 call for person with a gun and shooting on the highway. Police also responded to an additional E-911 call that the shooting victim is at the Septa Bus Terminal on 33rd and Dauphin Street. The 21-year-old white male was located with a gunshot wound to the stomach. He was transported by Police to Temple University Hospital and is currently listed in stable condition. The scene was held, no arrest and weapons recovered. The investigation is active and ongoing with Central Detectives Division. Offender: Black male wearing black clothing.

2nd District-Homicide by Shooting Incident Update
On Wednesday, October 21st, 2020 at approximately 10:37 P.M., Police responded to the 61XX block of Castor Avenue for E-911 call for a person with a gun and shooting on the highway. A 28-year-old Hispanic male victim suffered a gunshot wound to the head. He was transported by Police to Albert Einstein Medical Center where he was pronounced on Thursday, October 22nd, 2020 at 1:51 P.M. The victim was later identified as Marvin Soler of the 61XX block of Belden Street. The scene was held, no arrest and no weapon recovered. The investigation is active and ongoing with Homicide Detectives Division. Motive and Offender: Unknown
