I’ve been out today, and was able to start creating these beautiful Cosmic Chrysanthemums, then finishing this evening at home. I just love all the beautiful colours!

I’ve just finished creating this cosmic picture of Chadwick Boseman as King T’Challa from the movie Black Panther.

What a pleasure to create this design, after seeing Black Panther: Wakanda Forever on Saturday, and shedding many tears, I felt the need to honour him in this way. 🖤

It took 8hrs 33mins. 😍

At the eleventh hour on the eleventh day of the eleventh month – we will remember them.

The Armistice, an agreement to end the fighting of the First World War as a prelude to peace negotiations, began at 11am on 11 November 1918.

Armistice is Latin for to stand (still) arms.

To this day we mark Armistice Day around the United Kingdom with a Two Minute Silence at 11am on the 11th day of the 11th month.

I created this Poppy in July 2022.

Yay, its nearly the weekend! 🤩 I love all the backgrounds of all the art I've designed, so thought I'd spend a little time creating a cute Youth T-Shirt using my Raven background. I added some text too: "I Need Space". Perfect for our adorable teens and tweens! 😃

Me and my hubby had a fun arty hour with the GO SKETCH Adult Art Session this evening. Here are my creations!

They may happen monthly and I’m quite keen to keep going with these sessions, this one got me out of my head for a while and I could just let my mind be free! 😃

After following yesterday’s tutorial by Jennifer Nichols, I created this different dragonfly pastel painting.

I did start with a green background, but settled on blue/purple after all.

I just spent a relaxing afternoon creating this Magical Pastel Dragonfly from a Procreate tutorial on Skillshare by Jennifer Nichols: https://skl.sh/3bWcDes

I loved using the pastels, and the colours blended so beautifully together.

I’m going to try a different creature in this style, any suggestions?

Morning! Yesterday me and my kids joined in with the first free GO SKETCH online drawing class: Creative Drawing, and these are my 4 drawings!

I really loved finding my scribble whale: scribble on the page and try to find an object you can highlight. 🐋

We will be going to the next 2 sessions today and tomorrow: Cartoon Animals today, and Comic Strips tomorrow!

I love Lego and thought I’d have a bit of fun with Batman as I love The Lego Batman Movie too! 😃

I’ve got quite a few sets of Lego and enjoy creating with it!

Happy Saturday! I took these photos last night on my iPad, using the Star Trails Mode on the NightCap Camera app. ✨️

The first one was about 60 minutes exposure, and the second one was about 40 minutes.

They show some interesting plane trails too! 🛩

The smudges on the sides were where we accidentally got in the way of the iPad as it was taking the pics.

Love these!! ❤️

Here’s the impressive Statue of Liberty, standing tall against the cool and starry night sky in New York City, she’s my latest cosmic-style silhouette painting this week.

I just discovered her official name is "Liberty Enlightening the World".

I love looking up at the night sky, and last night I took my first proper photo of the Sturgeon Super Moon, using my Nikon 5300 DSLR - this was taken at 1000/1 second shutter speed, with my 70mm - 300mm lens, otherwise it was just a bright white disc in the sky. So happy with this!! :D

August's full moon is called the Sturgeon Moon, according to Time and Date. It is named after the largest fish in North America, which were found in abundance this time of year in the Great Lakes.

Good morning! 🌅 I've been getting up earlier the last few days to enjoy some of the cooler air of the day, just going to make a cuppa and sit in the garden! 🍵 What's your favourite early morning drink?

I finished this beautiful boxer puppy, called Kovu, recently - isn't he soooo adorable!?

Hi everyone!! Here’s my newest cosmic-style silhouette painting of New York City’s Manhattan Skyline. I wanted to add all the colours of the city lights into the sky, so tried quite a few different colour options, placements, and blending modes to achieve this colourful night sky!

Morning! 👋 I’m thinking of creating some more silhouettes and am after your suggestions of your favourite ideas for historical landmarks, or anything you think would work well.

I’m thinking maybe the Statue of Liberty, or The Colosseum in Rome, or the Taj Mahal in India, what do you think? 🗽
