Today we hung out with Wendy Young, the ex girlfriend of a highly sought-after neurosurgeon in Texas named Christopher Duntsch, who was known as “Dr. Death.” He botched more than 30 surgeries resulting in the death of two patients, landing him behind bars for life. This story gained so much media attention, Peacock created the series “Dr. Death,” which tells a dramatized version, as well as the docuseries "Dr. Death: The Undoctored Story." Christopher was a charming doctor who swept Wendy off her feet. But eventually his legal troubles, and erroneous surgeries put an end to the fairy tale romance Wendy thought she had. Wendy takes us back to the day her and Christopher met, her experience dating him, what he was like behind closed doors, the cheating scandal with his assistant, and how his criminal charges and trials affected her.
