WHO ARE THE CHEFS?
Chef’s Best Records is the collaborative effort between two Melbourne mates wanting to help celebrate and promote their friends’ bands through the release of a compilation album.
Featuring Melbourne’s own Le Pine, Black Snake Whip and Greyjacks; Chef’s Best (VOL.1) unveils the inner workings of these musical minds through the release of a single and a cover from each band totalling to a 6-song release.
A wild collaboration of genre-melding and bending, this first release from Chef’s Best twists its way through musical styles such as punk, prog and rock n roll, all whilst showing how said styles have influenced each bands interpretations of songs from the likes of Soft Cell, Creedence Clearwater Revival and The Angels.
In the weeks leading up to the album, each band will be releasing their own single from the compilation.
