So that's one of two episodes FINALLY edited after a tough couple months of illness within the household.

Editing is a LONG process. It often takes 3+ hours to do. This is to ensure we give you the cleanest and most informative version of the podcast/episode we can.
We take the time to have a chat with all our guests about reptiles, life and everything in-between. Lots of laughs and opinions are shared between us all, which is why editing is vital to Educational Podcasts, because you don't want to sway from the point of the episode with random filler and things that don't necessarily fit in with the content. It also helps condense it down for a more enjoyable and easier listening experience. It makes it feel and flow more professionally.

This episode of editing was helped to be done by our special, lazy guest. Natsu the Kitty Little.

Thanks for your patience, understanding and constant support. We have a LOT of exciting guests, visits and episodes in store and we are excited to continue on in to 2022. It's going to a great year!

This week we’ll be releasing the Podcast we did with Shelley and Rhys from MCC Couriers. We get asked quite frequently about the process of couriering and some people are hesitant as they have never used a courier to transport a Reptile before. The aim of this Podcast is to provide clarity and understand what goes in to couriering such as the planning and ex*****on of a run.

We are starting to recording new content next weekend and also have some amazing guests and visits lined up for this year covering a variety of topics across the Herping world.

Evening all!

Nic here, just wanted to give everyone an update and fill you all in.
Unfortunately our household (Stacey's and Mine) has been hit from Covid. Both me and Stacey along with our two children have tested positive.
This means there will unfortunately be a delay with the next two podcast releases and recordings as either myself or Stacey edit them afterwards.
Whilst I'm not too bad at all, Stacey has underlying health issues so it's hit her harder than anyone else in the house. Having two small children run around roaring like dinosaurs makes it hard to hear the podcast for editing purposes so we've decided to hold off to make sure quality is top notch.

Sorry for the delay and thanks for understanding and the support.

INFORMATION POST - LEOPARD GECKO VIVARIUM SET UP

I get a lot of questions surrounding how to set up a Leopard Gecko Vivarium correctly for new owners.

I’ve designed a quick layout diagram as this gives an idea of how things could look (decor is all personal choice). This is the way I advise anybody to set up a leopard gecko Vivarium. I prefer to offer the most up to date science based advice to allow the gecko the best possible chance at thriving in its new environment and exhibiting its natural behaviours.

That’s not to say other methods don’t suffice because other methods can/do work, but we all want the best possible environment for our reptiles so we like to air on the side of promoting the best husbandry options.

Note - I advise anybody keeping Reptiles to also invest in an IR Gun (Heat temperature gun) because you can monitor surface temperatures with this more accurately.

We also recommend Amphibipod for any reptile hide and accessory needs ❤️
