You won’t believe this… driving a manual can be so easy, but so many people do it wrong. Follow these steps: First make sure you have your brake pedal set to be slightly closer than your throttle. Then make sure you’re wearing the right shoes. You want something thin on the bottom but still have side support. I use chicane_thesoleofracing shoes for this. Then when you’re ready to downshift, all you need to do is move your right knee to the right while on the brake. That blips the throttle for you without even thinking about moving the pedals.
