It’s now March, which means we’ve reached the one-year anniversary of the COVID-19 pandemic in the United States. As of noon on March 1st, 2021, the CDC reports 511,839 people have died from COVID-19 in the United States.

Cigar City Youth Press would like to encourage you to spend a few moments today remembering those who have passed. Please honor their memory by doing everything in your power to help prevent further suffering and loss.
You can do this by wearing a mask, avoiding indoor spaces, maintaining distance, and receiving a vaccination when available.

We know there is a lot of pain and emotion loaded in this month, and we encourage you to be gentle with yourself and others.
