Fell over whilst marathon training. Blood everywhere. Doctor came over and pronounced me dead. Women and kids crying. When they went to close the body bag I raised my hand and said, “No. I’ve still got a marathon to run.” Doctor pronounced me alive. Women and kids still crying. They need to chill out. I no longer fear death. I embrace it.

New sleep paralysis demons unlocked! Every year we dress up for the Halloween special and this year we’re Pokémon people. I don’t really know much about Pokémon but I know I’m the boy who has magic balls and is my yellow friend. God knows what is (other than an affront to god).

Really didn’t think I’d be doing this when I was 47. Turns out life is awesome and you can kind of just do whatever you like*.

Earlier this year photographer to the stars, , came to Norwich to take our photos for ’s Big Fat Massive Hunt tour poster. While he was there he took individual press shots, and these are mine.

When we took the photos we hadn’t written much of the show, but now we have and I’m so excited to get out and do it. Last year, for the Round Sheep Tour, we were new to performing so kept everything quite simple.

This year we’ve pushed the boat out and tried to do something a bit different to other podcast shows. Myself, , and have been working for weeks on the script. We’ve written it, rewritten it, tweaked it and edited it endlessly. We’ve spent 6 days rehearsing a single 30 second section of the show. It’s been exhausting.

I like the photo of me in the t-shirt because I look like I have really muscular arms. I don’t. I’m largely pathetic.

We’re doing 13 shows, then never performing this again. Some shows are sold out. Most are nearly sold out. Come see us. It’ll be a laugh. We can all hang out after. Tickets available now.

First day on the slopes at and what a day. Glorious sunshine, great company and plenty of snow.

Jack and Fiona had a lesson and did brilliantly. It’s so nice watching friends experience the mountains for the first time and wonder in the beauty of it all. I love it so much.

I’m off to next week with for skiing, music and general mountain based fun.

The heroes at Snowbombing have sent us these football shirts they’ve made in collaboration with so we’re going to look well cool on the slopes, and will be prepared in case a 5-a-side match breaks out in one of the bars.

I’ve also let Jack borrow my spare ski helmet, which he’s going to wear all weekend to get in the mood.

Just finished a glorious few days in the mountains. I’ve been on a press trip to check out , which has immediately become one of my favourite resorts in the alps.

There will be a video but not till the autumn because the ski season is nearly finished.

This is the face of a man thwarted by the elements.

I’m out in Slovakia for what was due to be the first day of skiing three different resorts in three days, but 60kph winds means everything is shut.

We’ll make the most of it though with a nice lunch, then head to Zakopane in Poland tonight. Are you allowed to do après ski if you don’t actually ski? Answers below.
