Have you ever heard of a horseshoe orbit? It's a type of orbit that's both stable and incredibly complex. Objects in horseshoe orbits follow a path that resembles a horseshoe, passing the planet they're orbiting twice for every time the planet orbits the sun.

Horseshoe orbits are still being studied by astronomers, but they have the potential to teach us a lot about the universe. For example, they could help us to better understand how asteroids and comets move through space.
