Harbingers bagged Tayid-tayid III praises!

The Harbinger tool home five (5) awards from the Tayid-tayid III, a city-wide high school press conference of The Pioneer: The Official Student Publication of the Angeles University Foundation (AUF).

Leading the stream was Alainah Ocampo for winning the fourth place in Pagsulat ng Lathalain against a pool of writers from both the junior and senior high school. The lone Harbinger for Pagdidisenyo ng Grapiks, Pollyanna Sanchez, brought the second place home with her trustee gadget; an amazing win against other students from senior high school. Then, Dreisha David has proven her strength in Pagsulat ng Pangulong Tudling by winning the fourth place against competitors in Senior High Schools. David is the Regional Schools Press Conference (RSPC) qualifier for the Junior High School (JHS) in Angeles City for the same event! Follow the trail of awards was the fourth spot bagged by Sophia Quezada in Literary Writing. Her genius is proven comparable to her older peers being a seventh grader competing against high levels including those from the SHS. Lastly, and despite the new category that is Development Communication Writing and her zero exposure to the category, Yanisin Cecilio has shown what an ICT Harbinger could bring to the table with the guidance of the lecture provided by her evaluator by winning the third place against the best writers of Angeles City’s JHS and SHS from both public and private schools.

A first for The Harbinger and definitely the start of a new era of campus journalism for the leading provider of ICT education in Angeles City.

THIS WEEK:
CMRICTHS has SBM Level 3 Practice

Our school is praised once again for its top shelf insitutional practice. We showed them what we have done. We showed who we are. We raised our flag and sang our song proudly.

We told our story.

School Based Management (SBM) has proven itself a way of keeping schools alive. CRMICTHS has always been motivated to serve the Filipino child and provide them the best ICT-based basic education in the area, yet, SBM guides its hands inti focusing its energy to maximize its productivity and further align it with the vision and mission of the Department of Education (DepEd).

With the recent loosening of its admission and transferring policies, something about the way the school has identified itself through the years changed. There are no more screenings. Transferees are now welcome. CMRICTHS has fully become a "Regular School with a Special Program in ICT" that caters to every learner it can accomodate. The community is becoming bigger and bigger. The faculty is gaining a larger membership. These changes added to the challenges of the pandemic, it seemed difficult to see opportunities because biting the bright side may be easier said, than done.

As CMRICTHS, we didn't succumb to letting the winds guide us. We took on every challenge and solved them one by one. Overcoming every obstacle has become more like a way of life for the ICT teacher than a rare occurence.

This week, our efforts as teachers, learners, partner parents and legal guardians, community leaders, administrators, and stakeholders of such an esteemed school in Angeles City to make it shine showed. We are, once more, Level 3... and we are in the business of keeping it that way, if not better.
