Season 4 Episode 6: "Ghosted"-On this episode Shaneka pushes JaLisa to talk about a very sensitive topic! Have you ever been ghosted and/or been the ghoster? This is a conversation that does not occur often, because it places one in a very vulnerable state. Having to admit to being ghosted in a relationship forces one to have to deal with feelings of rejection and other insecurities that we try so hard to hide. These same insecurities come full circle, when having to deal with the stories that we have told ourselves, based on others perception of us. Not only do we lean on others perception, but we gain a distorted view of how we should see ourselves. It is time to take your power back and recreate yourselves, by remembering who God created you to be. Something so simple as being ghosted can contribute to all of these feelings. Take just thirty minutes of your day and tap in to see if this is an area that needs to be healed.
