"Keeping Up With The Kardashians"
To End After 14 Years.

"Keeping Up With The Kardashians" is ending after 14 years on air, Kim Kardashian West has announced.

The reality show, which followed the lives of the Kardashian family over 20 seasons, made its stars household names.

It will come to an end after its 20th season in early 2021, Kardashian West said on Instagram.

"It is with heavy hearts that we've made the difficult decision as a family to say goodbye to 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians,'" she said.

"After what will be 14 years, 20 seasons, hundreds of episodes and numerous spin-off shows, we are beyond grateful to all of you who've watched us for all of these years - through the good times, the bad times, the happiness, the tears, and the many relationships and children.

"We'll forever cherish the wonderful memories and countless people we've met along the way."

The model and businesswoman said "I wouldn't be where I am today without the popular show, which was aired on E! network"

It is not known why the show has come to an end, but E! said in a statement that it respects "the family's decision to live their lives without our cameras".

Kardashian West first gained attention as a friend and stylist of Paris Hilton, although became more widely known following a leaked s*x tape.

But it wasn't until after "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" premiered in 2007 that she truly shot to fame.

Concerning the drama that happened last night in the Big Brother Naija house, Uti Nwachukwu has got this to say concern Erica, the housemate he has been supporting from the beginning of the show;

"Last night was one night we would never forget from BBNaija2020. We witnessed with broken hearts as our favourite said some really hurtful words towards Laycon and subsequently Prince.

The shock the awe and the broken hearts were so much that you could literally taste it. 'Ah babe, you no try at all'

Laycon, thank you for not also reacting emotionally. It could have been worse and ended up being a violent altercation. Welldone bro. Prince, welldone also. Respect. There’s a popular saying that you beat with one hand and draw close with another. We have beaten. Now it’s time to draw close.

This is in no way justifying what happened but just to say 'please forgive'. That being said. She has apologised. We are also apologising and taking full responsibility. This is not a campaign, it is just to genuinely apologise to Laycon , Prince and their Fans for all she said and did last night. To err is human and to forgive is divine.

Yes some words were harsh and can’t be taken back, but I ask you to please find in in your hearts to forgive Her. Baba God forgives us everytime we backslide and come back to pray for forgiveness. Like Jesus said. We should forgive 70 X 70 times. Biko.

This has been eye opening for all of us and I’d want us to use this as a means of learning our own personal life’s lessons. We should all seek and learn emotional intelligence in a bid to control our emotions inebriated or not.

Whatever happens from here on, we can only promise to be empathetic, considerate and compassionate. Oddly, this Reminds me of my time in the BBA3 house where I got emotional and trashed the BBA on live tv when Lucille was evicted. Yep the next week I was voted out. I leaned my lessons and God gave me a second chance in 2010. And the rest as we know is history.

To every remorseful flawed person out there: The universe has its way of moulding and sharpening our character. So whatever happens in our lives, mistakes flaws and all, it's all part of the process.

NIGERIA..good people, great nation.

The name Nigeria was derived from two words 'Niger' and 'Area'
The word 'Niger' was gotten from 'River Niger' (River Niger Area>Nigeria)

This was also how the name 'Niger State' came to be, it got its name after the river niger because the river runs through the state.

Same as the country 'Niger', officially Republic of Niger. The country takes its name too from the 'Niger River', and also 'Niger Delta' which means 'the delta of niger river'.

The 'Niger' in 'Niger River' from which Nigeria, Niger State, Niger Delta and The Republic of Niger derived their names from is gotten from a Tamashek language phrase, 'gher n-gheren', which means 'River among rivers', it was later nick named Ngher or Niger.

If Niger means "River of rivers", we may simply say Nigeria means "Nation of nations" or "Giant of Nations" or "Giant of Africa"

The name, Nigeria has a positive meaning.

The National Working Committee of the All Progressives Congress, APC has named former Governor of Oyo State, Senator Abiola Ajimobi as its Acting National Chairman.
Senator Ajimobi is currently at an intensive care unit of a private hospital in Lagos, battling for his life after being infected with the Coronavirus.
The development is following affirmation of the suspension of the National Chairman, Adams Oshiomhole by the Court of Appeal in Abuja.

According to a statement issued by the party's National Publicity Secretary, Lanre Issa-Onilu, it says;

”The National Working Committee of the All Progressives Congress has received the news indicating the Appeal Court has upheld the suspension of the Party’s National Chairman, Adams Oshiomhole by an FCT High Court pending the determination of the substantive suit.”

Guided by advice from the Party’s legal department in line with the provisions of Section 14.2. (iii) of the Party’s constitution, the Deputy National Chairman (South), Senator Abiola Ajimobi will serve as the Party’s Acting National Chairman.

The Federal Government of Nigeria has suspended indefinitely and fined the operations of a private jet charter for flying Musician, Azeez Fashola aka Naira Marley, to Abuja for a concert at the Jabi Lake Mall.

The Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika who disclosed this on Monday at the daily briefing of Presidential Task Force on Covid-19 in Abuja, said the Executive Jet Services flouts the Covid-19 regulation.

According to the minister, the flight was approved for a different purpose, to convey a service judge from Lagos to Abuja and back, on official assignment.

He also said the flight crew will be punished for providing misleading information.

Ibidun Ighodalo, a former beauty queen and the wife of a popular pastor in Lagos, Pastor Ituah Ighodalo, the senior pastor of Trinity House Church, Lagos, is dead.
According to reports, the boss of Elizabeth R, a leading upscale event planning company was confirmed died this morning, Sunday June 14th, 2020 in her hotel room in Port Harcourt, Rivers State where she was handling a project.

The cause of death is yet to be ascertained.

She was in her early 40s and a mother of two.

Our hearts goes out to Pastor Ituah, the children, other family members and members of Trinity House Church.

May her beautiful rest in peace.

Court orders the release of Orji Uzor Kalu from prison.

The Federal High Court in Lagos State has ordered the release of Senator Orji Uzor Kalu from prison.

Justice Mohammed Liman of the Federal High Court in Lagos had during a trial on Tuesday ordered that Kalu be released from Correctional Centre.

Recall that the Supreme Court week’s ago nullified Kalu’s conviction.

NI24 had reported that Kalu was sentenced to 12 years imprisonment over N7.16 billion fraud, on December 5.
But the Supreme Court had upturned the judgment in its ruling led by Chief Judge of the Federal High Court, Justice Amina Augie. The ruling held that the trial Justice, Mohammed Liman of the Federal High Court in Lagos acted without jurisdiction.”

However, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, condemned the judgment of the Supreme Court, describing it as a technical ambush against the trial of the former governor.

The agency had declared preparedness for a fresh and immediate retrial.

Churches And Mosques To Reopen As FG Lifts Ban on Religious Gathering.

The federal government has lifted the ban on religious gatherings across the country.

The government had imposed the ban two months ago to check the spread of coronavirus.

But at the briefing of the presidential task force (PTF) on COVID-19 on Monday, Boss Mustapha, secretary to the government of the federation and chairman of the PTF, announced that President Muhammadu Buhari had approved the relaxation of the ban for four weeks.

“The PTF submitted its recommendations and the PRESIDENT has approved the following for implementation over the next four weeks spanning 2nd – 29th June, 2020, subject to review-:

“Cautious advance into the Second Phase of the national response to COVID-19; application of science and data to guide the targeting of areas of on-going high transmission of COVID-19 in the country;

“Mobilisation of all resources at State and Local Government levels to create public awareness on COVID 19 and improve compliance with non-pharmaceutical interventions within communities; sustenance of key non-pharmaceutical interventions that would apply nationwide and include: ban of gatherings of more than 20 people outside of a workplace;

“Relaxation of restriction on places of Worship based on guidelines issued by the PTF and protocols agreed by state governments.”

Mustapha also announced that from June 2, banks would operate within the normal working hours.

He appealed to Nigerians to abide by the safety protocols of health authorities, adding that Nigeria is still far from the end of the pandemic.

Nigerian Reggae Icon Majek Fashek Died At The Age Of 57.

According to his manager, Omenka Uzoma, the performer, popular for hits such as Send Down the Rain and So Long for Too Long, died in his sleep in New York City in the United State of America.

Writing on Instagram, Mr Uzoma said it was "a time for us all to celebrate his achievements, and not mourn".

The reggae musician, whose real name was Majekodunmi Fasheke, also worked with stars like Jimmy Cliff, Tracy Chapman and Snoop Dogg.

"He's done a lot for Nigeria and Africa," his manager said.

Majek Fashek has been ill for some time but the cause of his death is not clear.
