Science and Politics:

Reportedly, the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has expressed its desire, ostensibly under the influence of Trump, to expedite the clinical trials of Covid-19 vaccines in order to commercialize them, before November 2020, the month of US presidential election.

This is at odds with the scientific spirit as it is feared that a number of necessary steps will be compromised while a scientific method requires a careful and pedantic examination.
