I was diagnosed with Crohnโs/Colitis in 2011 ( which I had symptoms since 2000 ,until I was hospitalized and found out what was going on )and was on meds for 8.5 years and then I went into remission for a few years. It came back last year so it surprised me when I started feeling sick last April and all through the summer, fall, winter of 2022 and into the summer of 2023.
I Seen my Gastroenterologist the end of October 2022 and he thought it might just be an Intestinal bug but I said no Iโve been so sick from this for months so we scheduled a Colonoscopy for the end of January 2023 when I could get in.
I was so sick for over a year ( April 2022-June 2023) and I didnโt understand as I was taking a good supplement line but I guess it didnโt work for me! I Seen my Gastroenterologist this past August and he said Iโd have to go on a Biologic as my Crohnโs/Colitis was back! Good lord please give me strength as I canโt go through this again! ๐
But I said - I changed my health supplements at the end of June and for the last couple of months Iโve been doing much better and not running to the washroom constantly.
So he said-
well you have 3 choices
1) continue on and see how you do,
2) we can start you on a biologic
3) have another colonoscopy to see if things really have changed.
I said another colonoscopy which I had this past September.
