It’s been 105 days, LuLu. The pain is as fresh as Day 1. Always remembered, never forgotten. I am confident that LuLu has been given the best life she could ever have. And I intend to share every effective dog tip that I know with you to help you in your life journey with your dog(s). One tip a day is my way of honoring and remembering, LuLu.
Even in eternity, LuLu continues to serve by giving joy to others.

We never shared this but these were LuLu’s parents on the first photo. They are now reunited with their darling daughter in heaven. We don’t know their names but the one on the left was LuLu’s dad. Lulu’s daddy said she looked more like her dad.
Not having LuLu has been so hard. But we needed to let go so she can continue having her best life— free of pain & suffering. We miss you, LuLu. We are assured that we have given you the best life— from taking you on vacations, giving you car rides, celebrating your birthdays, hand feeding your food, the hugs, kisses & belly rubs, and giving you unlimited kisses and love.
You’ll forever be in our hearts.

We had to say goodbye to our beloved LuLu Bullmastiff last week.
She lived a life full of love, treats, walks, car rides and trips to the beach.
She was so sweet, loving, cute, soft and mellow. She provided us with so much comfort and love.
We are heartbroken, but we know LuLu is in heaven with all of the other pets that have passed on. LuLu lived a long life for a big dog, and her purpose here on Earth was complete.
Until we meet again.

Praying for LuLu. She hasn’t been eating this week. Not even rotisserie chicken, egg yolks or broth. Nothing is appealing for her to eat. She’s feeling weak but thankful that she can still get up to p*e and drink water in the backyard. Hoping for the best. She’s been prescribed antibiotics for 10 days and CBD oil-based pain killer.

Still very picky with what she eats at 10 years, 8 months. Yesterday, I waited 30 minutes at Costco to buy 3 cooked rotisserie chicken. She eats 1/3 of it per meal. The other day, we gave her corned beef. She doesn’t want the whole egg anymore, just the yolks. I’m sharing this to let others know an elderly dog’s appetite changes as they mature more in age. If they can’t smell it, they won’t eat it. If it’s too hard to chew like the usual dog treats, they won’t eat it.
Trying to keep LuLu healthy and satisfied as she ages through her 11th birthday on July 23rd.

I’m the cutest Third Wheel in an uptown girl kinda way. My pre-Valentine group date was superb. I calmly settled under the table for the accidental (or intentional) French Fry “drops.” For some reason, each one perfectly landed inside my mouth.

LuLu re-injured her leg last Saturday therefore she’s not able to walk these days. We’ve been hauling her around in her bed to help her get around the house. It will be her 10th birthday on Saturday. Day 10 (surgery date 1/31/22): Lulu’s first car ride after surgery. She got a puppaccino! She also went for a walk. Thank God for her healing. She’s one CANCER SURVIVOR! It’s possible with early detection!
