Listen, I know it’s a lot-
- I’m not about to tell you that you have to fix all of these things at one time-
In fact, I don’t even recommend that.
Here’s what I do recommend: taking some time to map out your client pipeline (from when they find you, to after their appointment), we can find these throughlines, of where we’re losing potential clients, + where is the most sticky (& lmk this sounds terrifying, and we can hop on a 15 min call + map it together)
So while you’re mapping out your client pipeline, really focus on THIS:
- your website being mobile responsive: hop on your site from your phone, straight from IG. take yourself through the process a potential client would, thinking about how many clicks to book an appointment, how to navigate a page, how to find info on services, how easy it is to call- and grade yourself!
- your branding being high quality + professional: take a look at your visuals, at your logo, business card, site, social media, interiors- how does all of that look? that is ALL your branding. does it feel aligned with your ideal client? aligned with your price point? is it all cohesive, does every piece work well together?
- your appointment booking software: what’s it like to book an appointment? is it easy to find information, pricing, details about each service? are their too many options? how many clicks does it take to book? any reminders? Is it easy to use? Is it easy to know what kind of appointment to book, as a new client?
- your social media being on brand + engaging: does it feel aligned with your brand values? does it attract ideal clients? are the graphics on brand, cohesive with your site, and printed materials? using the same color palette, the same font pairings, the same logo suite, the same vibe? does your brand seem like an expert in your space, based on your social media?

To be quite honest, the fact that the medical aesthetics industry is vastly controlled by women is one of my favorite things about this space.
When I was growing up, I didn’t have many real examples of women owning businesses, making their own money, or being empowered in their own right to look to.
Now that I’m older, and I own my own business, it FEELS REALLY GOOD to partner with other women running their own shows, and help them design and grow the businesses they desire.
It’s no small feat, it’s no small deal, and I feel literally rejuvenated every time I get to collaborate with another woman building something for herself, and just generally doing things her own way, and being an example for other women (me).
In the US, 87% of single location medical spas are owned by women.
In the last year, the average revenue for a single location medical spa was $1.9 million usd.
Women make up on average, 88% of the total number of patients of a med spa.
All that to say, in every single way, this is a women dominated space, and I couldn’t be happier for it.

HOW TO USE CHAT GPT IN YOUR MED SPA
**Ask it open ended questions to create sales plans, marketing strategies, etc:**
“I want to use chat gpt for my med spa, to make running my business, marketing it, managing the team, managing clients, growing the business, etc easier- ask me anything you need to know about my med spa so you can understand my business and help me do all of that”
**Use it to plan service launches, holiday sales, specials, etc:**
“I want to use chat gpt as a marketing strategist, to create a sales strategy for my medical spa to increase our revenue for december. Here is a description of my business [insert description of your business]. Here are all of the services we offer [insert list of services]. Here are our most popular services [insert services]. Here is an overview of our ideal client [insert brain dump of of ideal client, with fairly descriptive details]. Ask me any more questions you need to help me create a holiday sale to increase our revenue.
**Use it to systematize training + onboarding for new staff, to create employee handbooks, provide training on specific protocols, etc:**
“”Please generate detailed training content for our spa staff on the topic of [specific spa treatment], covering the following aspects:

- [ insert products and tools used]

It’s so helpful to understand WHO your brand is attracting and WHY. I have clients all the time who want to:
- raise the prices of their services and experience no pushback from clients
- specialize in a specific service, and become known as the xyz expert in their area
- start narrowing down their client base to only their ideal clients
And when this feels sticky or difficult, a lot of times it comes down to the brand personality your business currently has. When there’s a million options to choose from, why would your dream client specifically feel called to your business? Your brand has to feel like it’s SPEAKING to them specifically.
so when we create branding for your business, it’s about way more than just your personal aesthetic, it’s about attracting the personality of your ideal client.
