Rex is picking up the test pressings today! If they meet with our approval, it won't be long! It's been a long road but we are finally seeing our destination on the horizon! Thank you for bearing with us. I've always felt there was a grand purpose behind this Zion project because, from it's very beginning, it has been met by a battle to get it out there. The day the first single was released my wife was almost killed when she was hit by a tractor trailer and it's been one attack after another ever since! But we have one who goes before us and he has overcome!

I was recently asked, by an fb friend on the Image Records LLC page, "What is a Zion?"

So for those of you who missed it or are too young to have experienced it, here's a little history:

Zion's Thunder from the Mountain was produced by David Zafirro (Bloodgood) and released in 1988, on the new Image Records label.

"Thunder..." took the CCM market by storm garnering 4 top ten singles over a three year period. In ten days the first single shot to #2 on the CCM chart.

The second single became the first CCM #1 metal single awarded, and the next two were top ten!

In it's third year it was the number 5 college played cd of the year (CMJ).

It appeared on four compilation cds, including Myhrr's 12 New Faces, and K-tel's Best of Christian Rock.

As a result of the album's popularity, the band was courted by CBS Sony, Word and Star Song.

That's what a Zion is.

And did I mention, the remix (remixed and remastered by Glenn Thomas of ituneaudio) has even more punch than the original? Thank you for asking.

The CDS just arrived! It kicks butt! If you haven't ordered yet do it! I thought the test tracks sounded good, the final product is even better than expected! There were only 800 of the first run, and they are going fast! Shipping of the CD starts tomorrow!

We are still waiting for delivery of the limited edition vinyl. Many roadblocks have been encountered, but only makes us more determined to get it out there asap! The special edition color vinyl package has only 500 ordered for the limited run, that's all that will be available.
