One year of knowing you, Elizabeth!

I know this isn't my normal content, and I don't expect everyone to watch this, but I wanted this for me. This past year has been so spectacular and filled with immense joy, that I wanted to forever commemorate it to watch forever.

Nothing says new baby life like an upload at 9 p.m. on a Saturday, right? 😅 My life has been a blur since my baby shower in June, and it's been so sweet coming back to these projects I set up for them. In my newest video, check out how I engraved this darling wooden cake serving set for our baby shower. The best part - I can use this for her birthdays going forward. I can't wait to get a photo of her knife with the cake every year. ♥️

TEN YEARS 🎉

Our marriage can now be grouped into a new unit of measurement - a decade. I can't believe the boy I planned to break up with at the end of summer break is now the man I have a family with.

The Lord knew I needed Nick in my life when I was 19 and boy is that still true now at 33. Nothing has brought me greater joy than being his wife these last 10 years. We've gone to countless weddings, worked together, driven across the country and back, bought a house, got a dog, he's supported me through my business and most recently we welcomed baby Elizabeth.

Last year on this day, I prayed that we would be at peace with not being able to have a child of our own. Now a year later there's a beautiful nursery where my office was, a bassinet in our room and the most precious little girl in our arms. This life is so much grander than I could have imagined and while we are still facing challenges now, I keep praying the Lord keeps our faith strong knowing it still brings Him all the glory.

Cheers to 10 years. I love you, Nicholas. 😘

We blinked and Elizabeth is a month old today! ✨ Nick and I have felt so loved from our family and friends and have spent this time celebrating this sweet little life we waited so long for. Little Beth loves eating, car rides and laying on our legs belly down. We're still working through the newborn phase, but I'm reminding myself to enjoy these little moments because they're gone too soon.

I also whipped up a new set of monthly milestone markers for her using wood from and pink acrylic from . 😍

Enthralled. Enchanted. We can’t begin to express the joy we feel to have Elizabeth James here with us womb side. Born August 9 at 4:33 a.m. she is a precious gift who has been so loved and prayed for over the years.

From the loved ones who waited and prayed with us, to the medical professionals who watched over her growth, the Lord’s mercy has been with us delivering our precious girl in the exact time and way necessary.

Many of you have watched our journey to parenthood and I have felt so much love and support. We are so thankful and are excited for this next amazing chapter in our lives! 💕

Like a magical whirlwind, we've arrived at Elizabeth's due date. As my doctor tells me each week when I continue to show no signs of labor, she continues to be a happy, comfortable baby in her womb apartment.

I've been trying to soak in every joyful kick over the past few weeks, appreciating the joy we've had throughout this pregnancy. Of course any pregnancy can have its hard moments (like getting food poisoning at 30 weeks 😅), I was fortunate to have a smooth and enjoyable time.

As we wait to see when she decides to arrive, I am so thankful for the wonderful time we've had and the support we've had from friends and family. I can't wait to start this new chapter as parents and look forward to sharing with Elizabeth just how loved she is already. 💕

I got a base from Houston Acrylic, and used my Cerulean Tides acrylic along with Oracal cut with my Siser North America Juliet!

It's surreal to look at the calendar and see that we're exactly one month away from our due date. (I know, I know, it could be two weeks, it could be more!)

I've spent the past few years sitting at this exact computer joyfully designing and producing baby items for friends and customers while having hot tears running down my face wondering why my time hadn't come yet.

Now I still sit here with tears, but so, so thankful for the road we've gone down. Thankful for the friends who cried and prayed with us while walking through infertility, then cried and rejoiced with us when we could tell them that I was pregnant. I still get overcome when I feel this baby move knowing that she has so many people who have been waiting on her.

We're in crunch time now. My studio is still fully set up in the room that will be her nursery and the new space for the studio isn't done yet, but I am reminding myself to cherish every moment in this season. To you all - physical and digital friends, I love and appreciate you and the love you've already shown Baby Potts 💕

We can’t wait to hold you, Elizabeth James! 💕

After spending so long wondering if we would ever have children, I am cherishing every moment and celebrating this gift as much as I can. 🥰

A bonus for everyone, my girl needs a whole suite of decor and items, so I guess those have to come back! 😂

But seriously, thank you all for your patience this past year as I’ve navigated tough losses and adjustments. I’m looking forward to getting back to content soon.
