In a throwback to the time when we didn't know when/if lockdown would come to an end, along with Ronan Guilfoyle and perhaps some unadvertised guests, keep your eyes open for a special reunion of the once Daily Blast, to what Ronan called an annual blast :) when we caught up the other day. I will post the scheduled date and time possibly by the end of today. It would be lovely to see as many of you as possible from the time when we threatened Jimmy Fallon's ratings :)

Allen Mezquida - alto saxophonist extraordinaire and then there is all his animation work and more recent incredible jazz illustrations. Allen is on tomorrow with Ronan and myself.

Dave Baron - With a wide palette from music for TV, recording with Michael Jackson, Mick Jagger, Lenny Kravitz, Ithzak Perlman, Megan Trainor to his late father, we will talk about his innovative work recording the likes of Miles At The Filmore east, The Allman Bros at Filmore, Leonard Bernstein, his mobile recording unit etc

Michael Feingold - JayZ, Beyonce, Erykah Badu, John Legend, Ariana Grande, Bruno Mars in his work as guitarist and orchestrator. His prodigious work in the orchestral field has seen his orchestrations of some Ravel piano works (many never orchestrated before) published in France by, I believe, Durand. Michael's detail included reproducing the very distinctive look of a Durand published work. I will hope to discuss his work on video game soundtracks.

Just a soft pitch here. Cost of hosting Daily Blast monthly is around $65.
