Benefit for Ryan Mart
Ryan was first diagnosed with a Brain Tumor, Meningioma, on Sept 23, 2022. He had his first surgery on Sept 28th and a second one Nov 9, 2022. He was then diagnosed again in February 2023, being told the tumor was now growing at a much faster rate and has just finished 5 rounds of radiation. Ryan is 34 years old, from Brookville, Ohio. He has been a tow truck driver most of his life and a firefighter/EMT with the Brookville and Richmond Fire Departments. He has always been there to help the community, and now as a community, we need to come together and help him. Throughout the last 7 months, Ryan has occurred many medical bills and has had to take a lot of time off work. We are having a benefit for Ryan at Aces on 48, Saturday, May 6, 2023, from 3pm-9pm, with live music, a hog roast, 50/50 drawing, t-shirt sale, bake sale and raffle items, with 100% proceeds going back to Ryan to help with his living expenses. They blasted through at the end to be the top collecting team with a total of 51,977 points. Their excitement & cheers were heard through the halls during this morning's announcements!
We are beyond grateful to have such a wonderful community that supports our teachers. ALL of the students, families, and staff members worked hard at contributing towards this event and, in the end, brought in a grand total of $5,116.71 for Mrs. Grossman (Miss Becky). Thank you so much.
