Happy Halloween! We did Candy CORN Wormholes this year! 🙂. Each CCWH has a different Peep marshmallow that at the center, and we cast chocolate toppers as bats, pumpkins, spiders, skulls, graves, etc… Laurie celebrated Day of the Dead with hers (see her t-shirt?). Asher did a zombie theme, and Finley did a ghostly one with candy corn pumpkins. My green apple candy canes arrived crushed, so I decided to show what an exploded CCWH looks like. My Peep started out as a pumpkin. We used Oreo, green apple, and orange candy canes, Halloween themed sprinkles, and caramel flavored green cotton candy. :)
This Halloween we made our first ever Candy CORN Wormholes. 🎃 We used Halloween peeps for the marshmallows, cast chocolate skulls, bats, etc. and themed candy canes. The tastiest part was the caramel flavored cotton candy (snow squirrel fur). The only requirement was we had to have #candycorn in order to open the wormholes at Halloween. 🙂. Here are the before and after inks from my previous lightbox post. The beat in the scene is changing from one where Stanley misses Santa's sleigh and immediately has a good idea to get the lost toys to kids into a scene where Stanley deals with the hurt of failure from missing Santa. The new script stretches the failure moment out over three pages with a goal of giving a more satisfying ending. It also adds in a "white witch" moment, for those of you familiar with that beat.
