He then transferred to Fairmont State, and then to California University of Pennsylvania, and somehow now has a two-year contract with the Dallas Cowboys. C.J. will join me to talk about his amazing journey all the way to the NFL during the first segment of today’s show.
3:30 p.m. – Beginning next week, student-athletes in West Virginia will be permitted to play a winter sport and a spring sport simultaneously and WVSSAC Executive Director Bernie Dolan will join me on the phone to discuss what issues could be encountered during the rest of the year.

4:30 p.m. – A new business has opened in Martins Ferry and Brandon and Melissa Holmes will tell us about the process the East Ohio city has in place for other entrepreneurs to do the same this spring and summer.

3:30 p.m. – W.Va. Del. Erikka Storch will give us a call from Charleston where the Republican majorities have proposed several bills that would impact the operation of municipalities across the state – including Wheeling. One example is the $2-per-week User Fee that is paid by employees working in Wheeling and is earmarked for public safety and infrastructure … but some state lawmakers wish to eliminate the system in the Mountain State.

4 p.m. – LEDE’s own Mike Hughes is scheduled to call in to discuss the beginning of winter sports in West Virginia high schools, the expected overlap the student-athletes will experience when the spring season begins in April, and the precautions that have been put into place as far as attendance is concerned.
